Awesome match....THIS is what I looked forward to every wk as a 12yr old.....and seeing how this one ended was perfect....Link was physically twice the man that Garvin was, and the ending still surprised me....pleasantly surprised!....and left me a little damp in my tighty whities, great to finally see this again

I have to admit after seeing the ending.... I've rewatched this one multiple times, this channel has amazing footage, rare matches like this one, that I haven't seen since the night it aired on tv, but have thought about often....just because of how the last minute or so goes, such a quick, matter-of-fact, surprisingly satisfying ending of the match....1...2...3....and Garvin was one of my two all time favorite heels (Rick Rude being the other)...sometimes I just watch the last minute leading up to the easy pin, over and over JUST because it's so surprisingly satisfying.

Missing Link almost looks exactly like Bepo Mongol (Nikolai Volkoff before he became Volkoff) from the early 70's - huge powerfully built body type, Manchurian queue, and all. The only difference of course is the face paint. But very similar looking overall.

I like this better than when he went full blown w the paint n head butt

Garvin was one of my favorite heels....and the ending to this match, the last minute up to the surprising pin is so satisfying in some way, that I watch that part over and over....I start it at about 14:05 and watch it until the quick, unexpectedly easy, punishing pin

Garvin was such a cool babyface, the type you really wanted to cheer for. Good fight.

I didn't know if that was the missing link because the face paint was different and the hair also and I just noticed no foo man chue mustache 😮

By 8:49, Dewey is showing the physical signs of just HOW ALPHA dominantly controlling Ron in front of the crowd is making him feel...THE best comparison i can find at the beginning of the match is 2:28..Notice any differences in the shape of Dewey's trunks?...Over 6 minutes have gone by, and Dewey has just been punishing Ron, dominating him, owning him, with the excitement of it enhanced by the crowd watching him do it... I'm thinkin, him feeling so alpha, so physically superior by this time, that it also triggered in him a feeling of cocky, bully-like "randiness"...Just look at Him at 2:29, and then 8:49, He's definitely "fattened-up" more...Hell, can you blame him? He's completely abusing Ron Garvin like he's NOTHING!...I only wish Dewey would have used a rear chinlock on Ron while sitting on his back....then the "Garvin stomp" on Ron, and then slammed himself down on Ron's chest with that package up in Ron's face for the 1...2...3 count, just like Ron used to..but, then again, this was before Garvin began executing those humiliating maneuvers on his opponents....Dewey was thoroughly enjoying this, no doubt
