I have been requested to write romantic stories often and I try to a couple times a year for those who really want to feel connected. Hopefully the rest of the story is engaging enough, but if not there are many old stormy stories I have up.

I don’t know how to define the term true love. Love is or it isn’t to me. It’s unconditional positive regard. Romantic love adds the flavor of passion or physical chemistry which has so many personal variables that’s it’s un definable to me anyway I’m no expert. All women and men are intrinsically beautiful and worthy of both love and passion. You have convinced yourself otherwise. Life has a way of finding itself so does love. But you have to be receptive for it. First you must love yourself. That then makes you loveable. Just some thoughts from an old fart.

I’ve been to mystic before it was kind of a cheesy touristy place. This was different, it was marvelous made an old man feel young again. Gotta try fried Ipswich clams next time though. Thanks for taking me there

I would love to go into mouthwatering detail with the food but know some listeners say it causes them to have late-night binges instead of rest. I think its like most places-- best enjoyed in the off-season with the locals.

@@MichellesSanctuary all your details are mouthwatering. Even subtle ones. It’s a friggin gift that sometimes keeps me up instead of diving into sleep but it’s so worth it. Whether it’s a field of flowers the shape of lips or a gaze into someone’s eyes or the scent of trees it’s all goosebumpy

This is my first time listening to this in a while...I used to listen nightly and go through it with my boyfriend and our respective dogs (4 instead of one 😅) its been a sore spot since we broke up and Im trying to come back...I dont know why im typing this honestly I guess I just need yo put it out there.

Oh, I'm so sorry you're going through this and I understand. I'm glad you came back. When my ten-year relationship ended I had a hard time even going to my yoga class simply because it was part of my old routine that reminded me of what no longer was. I hope you are able to re-imagine and experience these still. Four pups! I still haven't raised to the courage to have two, but one day I will!

You're voice is very relaxing and soothing. You help my insomnia a lot 😴 Do you have any vlogs where you talk all the way through them? It take me a long time to eventually relax and you voice stops half way through so I have to pick another vlog? X

Michelle, here in London UK I’ve been listening to your wonderful stories and soothing voice for a long while now, and you’ve only got better with time. However, I do have a small favour to ask of you. Please go easy on the stories that involve a romantic partner, and please mention in the title if your story includes one. I’m sure that listeners who want to include their partner, either real or imagined, have little problem imagining that partner with them during the stories which only focus on ‘you’. On the other hand, in stories like this one, it is impossible for listeners such as myself, who want to be single or just be with their dog during the story, to edit out the ‘special someone’ or ‘beloved companion’ when you mention them every 5 minutes. I so often have to switch off a story after the first ten minutes because of the sudden introduction of a ‘special someone’ which is both disappointing and frustrating. Perhaps you could have a special playlist or group of stories which are clearly labelled as romantic for those who want that kind of sleep story, so that at least people like myself don’t have to invest a whole ten minutes of listening before finding out whether the story is going to feature a romantic partner or not. I can’t be the only single listener who wants to focus on themselves and their dog, without being forced to conjure up either an imaginary partner, or choose out of one of their exes. Obviously this is just a suggestion and you have to decide what’s best for your channel. I just feel I’m missing out on a lot of wonderful stories just because I don’t want to have to imagine some perfect partner at my side the whole time. Having said that, you are wonderful, your stories are wonderful and I thank you for what I imagine must be a huge amount of time and hard work in creating them. The fact that you’ve created so many of them and kept them all so different and varied is a real testament to your huge creative talent. Wishing you all the luck and creative energy in the world for now and for the future. ♥️ EDIT - I’ve just realised that you did label the story as romantic so apologies for that and please ignore that part of my message!

Oh I’m glad you realized and any time a story says “Romantic” in the title it will be of this design. They are requested often and I only create a couple a year. I completely celebrate individual choices and single life by design. I have joyously been single many times in life. But I also like to give this option for those who enjoy it. I try to create as much diverse content as I can. And it will also always detail this in the description. Sorry if this interrupted your sleep routine in an unpleasant way!
