I am very surprised this song was not a big hit in the 80's. An awesome tune. One of my favourite songs in that era.

God, I've been looking for this for YEARS!! I'd begun to think I had dreamed it!

I used to work in a computer store with Duncan Lindsay (the keyboardist) in Toronto. I was at the release party at the Diamond Club. I'm amazed someone got this up on KZread!

This was my favorite band as a kid I loved edge of the shadow to bits and wherever this band is today you had a fan in me and you will always be remembered for this amazing 1988 classic rock on Roman grey wherever you are your music lives on

You are so right the Canadian music scene in the 80s was awesome and being from fort McMurray and now Edmonton Alberta this was the soundtrack to my childhood

For a while, Roman Grey were my favourite band...

Another great song from the 80's. Wish I could go back.

I've remembered they played this video on Much. This band is a hidden Gem.

Possibly the most "80s" music video ever made: Watching this is like eating a McDLT on the hood of a DeLorean while drinking a New Coke and playing with a Rubik's Cube.

a relentlessly catchy 80s synth pop tune with a couple killer hair metal inspired guitar solos....how many of those are out there floating around?? haha. fantastic ageless song.

One of the few songs that not only had a guitar solo in the middle, but a guitar solo at the end of the song as well.

i remember this song came out in 88 i was 11 there was a bar named after this song my auntie would take us there it was popoular in Africa, memories i was so young !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@mwmhong AM106 was the shit back in the mid 80s!!! I used to listen to it from 84-88 when I lived in Calgary... Oh the memories.... I love this song and miss the 80s so much! :(

They sound like A-Ha meets Tangerine Dream. I briefly remember this song when I was a kid. I didn't even know they were Canadian I thought they were from Europe for sure.

@gordharris I have a very rare print of the CD. I don't even listen to it because I savor the tracks so much, I just listen to a burned copy.

I love the song but... When I saw in the video that a hunter killed the lion, I felt sick and sad inside, what glory was in that, I'm not blaming the group, just the injustice in the world. Man is supposed to superior, but in this case, man is arrogant, and unfeeling. I also would love the lyrics.
