Rolling Miter Cart with Storage

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

The garage in our rental is much smaller than my old workshop so I was always having to drag my miter saw outside to work. I don't know why this took me so long to make because it's a relatively easy project and only took a day to put together. With the addition of the wall control metal pegboards, it is the perfect solution for extra storage and a portable work area. I love how easy it is to move my saw outside when I need to work, and because of the pegboards I always know where my safety goggles and tape measure, etc. are. The two flaps on either side fold up to help support larger pieces of wood when I'm cutting, and I have a small shelf on the side for those little pieces of scrap wood that build up during a project.
I'm following this tutorial by Tylynn at Bitterroot DIY, but I changed the dimensions to accommodate my peg boards: www.bitterrootdiy.com/easiest...

Looks great! But I definitely recommend adding a wire/plug control clamp, strap holder, etc

Love the storage! Great idea to put it on wheels. Mine is stationary and I’ve thought about doing something like this at some point.

Wheels make SUCH a difference and I'm not sure why I waited so long. Doy.

Good design. I would attach a bucket dust collection and strip outlet.

looks great! I really like how you use the wall controls, they're so handy! I'm going to be making one similar but I want to include a way to measure and add stop blocks quickly.

Hope you see this comment since the last comment was a year ago. I am looking for a good Miter Saw stand and really like yours. But, I don't see what Pegboard system you used and the measurements. I have looked at different systems but would be handy if you can lead me to the ones you used. Thank you.
