Rolling Ball Sculpture - Vitruvian Man cn:195

Ғылым және технология

Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man is an iconic drawing which I've welded into the frame of this 800mm x 800mm wall mounted rolling ball sculpture.
The sculpture includes a couple of requests from the client, such as a double helix with multiple balls, and a way to represent the Y shape of an antibody.
Along with these unique components, there are loops, multiball tipping arm, balls on track, wavy track and flat spiral.
the entire sculpture is powder coated in matte black and uses 25mm glass marbles.

Only 1,000 views in a month? The algorithm needs to get this video out in more feeds! 💪

Very impressive indeed. Your choice of color for the marbles is spot on. Nice contrast with the frame work. I like the new action with the springs. Something new I believe.

I've not seen it before. The Y shape represents an antibody - a request from the client.

its very nice, the double helix is awesome to watch in action, i have to admit the lighting in the video makes it a bit hard to see the vitruvian man the top is clear to see the bottom part is less clear, love the orange flaming marbles i would love to see those in neon yellow with an acid purple flame or inverted purple/yellow...this is a beauty, thanks for sharing it!

Thanks for the feedback. The Vitruvian Man was difficult to light up. In person it is really easy to see. The camera doesn't pick it up very well. Purple marbles!! Awesome! I haven't come across any in purple just yet. I'll keep an eye out for them.

I would rather see the entire sculpture run in tandem, just as music is a whole piece, rather than edits of the small sections. It feels claustrophobic. I can’t even watch it.

I'll be uploading the entire static shot of this video in the next day or so. The small shot selection is to keep the video to a reasonable length. It's all about short videos these days. 🙄

@@rollingballdave I want to turn shorts off. Is there a way to do that?
