Very nice element! I really enjoyed the graphics and the slo-mo video. Both nice touches. Thanks for sharing!

Professionally done serpentine.

Thanks Bob. 🙏
Nice one again. The head-on slow motion of the ball coming down the serpentine shows how smoothly it rolls. Looking forward to the next episode. (Mainly I'm just commenting because I understand it helps in some way!). Geoff in France.

Thanks Geoff. 👍 I’ve just finished the build so the next video will show the final product!
Now we have graphics and animations? Wowee! Your production design is getting better. Your channel is gonna blow up one day. I will tell everyone that I was subscribed when you had less than 10,000. Keep up the good work. Could you have a little jump where the ball jumps off the track, hits the glass and rebounds back? That would make a nice little percussive note.

@oystamanza, I would worry about the continued integrity of the glass panel after several hits. Especially if it is not tempered glass. What about fixing a metallic clicker to the glass? Would that work? The bearing might require a fair amount of momentum to make the clicker click. A miniature gong?

Thanks for the comment. The glass is super thin and I’m so delighted that I’ve managed to avoid breaking it during the build. I’m definitely not going to purposefully direct balls into it.
Love your videos. Theoretically, if you have limited space and need more slope, can you get a little boost by subtly making the gap between the rails wider? Would that work, or would you lose that gain if you need to bring them back together at some point?

Moving the rails wider slows the balls down. This is very handy if you’re about to send them into something complex where too much speed is unwanted. Closer rails speeds things up. The science is something to do with the ball diameter at the relative points of contact.

Thanks. I get told this a lot. Am trying to learn from all video feedback so appreciate your help.
