Rollerblading Going Mainstream?

Спорт

With every passing week, it seems like more people are rediscovering inline skating. This week may have been the strangest yet with THEM skates in Vogue Magazine, Salomon acknowledging skaters, and multiple celebrities being spotted on skates.

    looks like it but slowly slowly we don't want it to explode and burn out again. We are in a strange position where all the people that loved skating as kids can now afford the gear they always wanted but also they have their own kids they can push into it :D

    I've noticed something interesting while watching your videos. I always see a bunch of people on skateboards in your videos in the background, but here where I live (Europe, Latvia), skateboarding is in a similar position as rollerblading, way less popular than it used to be. The parks are filled with kids on scooters here.

    You made it look good! The late forward shifts made coming out of the truemiz stylish lol. Truth is that one can make any trick look good if done properly and with personality. Just the garnish thing that I´ll never like. People treat it like a trick these days, but to me it just looks like a poorly done cesslide. But I´m oldschool, so who cares! Great stuff Corey! Like!

    Great vids as usually, but has a question, im in freestyle skaiting for a bit but can't decide which would be the best agressive ones to start with a decent base setup as they come from the box. As don't want to spend too much as beginning aggressive skater.

  • @zackmarkham4240
    @zackmarkham42402 жыл бұрын

    I hope they're going mainstream. If they do, possibly lower prices and more people buying them. Reviewing them more and more, which means the caompanies might start making changes for more comfortable skates and more styles. More consumers, more reviews, butter refinement.

    I've commented the same thing on other current blading videos but Skateboarder/KZreadr Tim Pool did a vlog last week on his mansion and the various skateparks he has within it. Him and his BMX friend talked about action sports beef and that blading shouldn't be ragged on. Tim bought a bunch of pairs of skates for people to try (Danny Beer, Carlos USD, Sam USD, Roces, etc). Then they even laced up and tried a few tricks. I don't think people will touch on it cause Tim is controversial when it comes to politics but I can't deny how cool it is that he exposed blading and presented it in a really positive way to hundreds of thousands of people. The video has like 300k+ views.
