Trax is not an authorized dealer of Rolex. Only an Authorized dealer can purchase wholesale directly from Rolex. Trax would be considered an independent dealer, Trax sells many high end watch brands. Don't get it twisted, these are 100% authentic Rolex watches. Just because he isn't an AD doesn't have anything to do with the authenticity of the watches he sells. As a matter of fact you will do much better on the price on most watches when dealing with an independent dealer. I've never done business with Trax but I would feel confident purchasing a watch from him and his team.

@@PainandMotivation There are a lot of reasons why Trax is not an AD for Rolex. First Rolex is not like 7eleven, one on every corner. In NYC you have the main 5th Ave Boutique, Tourneau Corner and Watches of Switzerland and that's it for Rolex AD's in NYC. A lot of other stores sell Rolex but not as an authorized dealer. Also, the criteria to qualify to become and AD is ridiculous and costs millions of dollars jus to get your foot in the door in NYC. There are countless other reasons too. Better off dealing with a reputable independent dealer as any Rolex that is highly desirable these days is impossible to get at an authorized dealer. That's another really long story that I not going to get into.
