In this video, I take a look at the Rolex quartz collection. I think these watches have a great value in the market especially what Rolex prices have been going recently. I would love to hear your opinions in the comments down below do you think this is a watch that will continue to go up in value and will be collectible in the future. If you’re curious or have any questions you can email me at justtherightwatch@gmail.com and I’ll be sure to answer you.

I love the Rolex Oysterquartz. It is far away from any other quartz Watch. The 5035/5055 movements (a traditional mechanical part combined with a quartz drive) full inhouse development is just brilliant. I think Oysterquartz are probably the most underated Rolex models.

I completely agree with you. Those movements are incredible and they are also designed by JLC Most people don’t know that

Probably the coolest Rolex
Para los que odian los relojes de cuarzo. Para los que les encantan los relojes de cuarzo. La mejor manera de llevar las 2 tecnologías en la muñeca y en un solo reloj, con el reloj mas preciso del mundo a finales del siglo pasado.
I own the two tone and I love it. What year is the two tone? Anyone know?
i have one and i love it! its my first rolex and i will never sell it. its a very unique piece of rolex history.

@@kingking268 you most likely can change it, there is a pair of screws holding down a tab for the battery, just remove that, take out the old one, and install the new one. I think it uses the 357 battery. You should be able to get about 2 1/2 to 3 years from it.
I have the 17000 silver oyster. The first 2 years of production (78-79?) included a movement that was not COSC certified. That’s the model I have. I have small, but flat wrists. The watch head sits on my wrist very well, but there are quite a few non-adjustable links. The only way I can get it to fit is to have Rolex cut out a permanent link. I ordered a beat up band w/o a clasp. I’m going to have the watch fitted to my wrist on that band.
my favorite is the blue dial because is the most sporty of the three ones with oyster bracelet and without fluted bezel. the most versatile as well.
Best video sir . U deserve more subs
Amazing video, keep it up!
I always overlooked this watch but hell I may just have to drop the 12 or so thousand it costs to get the full yellow gold one.
17000 Roman dial 👌 my 1886 love it

That is a very nice watch👍 1986 though 😂
My daily rotation is 17000 w/ White Romans and a 17014 Black dial. Best of both worlds oyster/smooth and jubilee/fluted.

Awesome both great references. Personally my favorite Oysterquartz of all time has got to be the 17000 so versatile. I also think the day date range offers a lot of value.

@@thewatchking ya my trophy refs would be 19018 w/ wood dial, and a 19019N (vertical brushing) w/ a computer/jubilee dial w/ arabic numerals. Take a look at 'Hong Kong Watch Fever's blog he's shall we say "one of us" :)

Yeah that’s a very cool piece. It’s amazing to think Day Date was is more collectible then all the sport models. I think back then people really appreciated the watches for what they were. Not how much they could flip it for. That particular one you’re talking about is really cool. I always tell everybody trying to get a oysterquartz day date condition means everything because it can range between 8000 to 10,000 on a regular dial.
Had a 17013 just bought a mark 1 17000
