Roku Select Series Review - A Solid Cheap TV!
Ғылым және технология
Get the Roku Select Series: www.rtings.com/afflink/Ab4AAJ...
The Roku Select Series is the lower-tier model in Roku's first-ever proprietary series of TVs. It sits below the Roku Plus Series QLED, but unlike that model, the Select doesn't use quantum dot technology to display a wider range of colors. As it's a cheap TV, it lacks some gaming features that more expensive models tend to have, like HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, a 120Hz panel, local dimming, and variable refresh rate (VRR). Unlike the Roku Plus, the Select doesn't support Dolby Vision but still supports HDR10+. It comes with version 12.5 of Roku's fast and intuitive Roku TV smart OS, and its remote has an integrated microphone for voice commands. You can also use voice through the Roku app on your phone. It's a Best Buy exclusive and comes in eight different sizes, from a very small 24-inch to a large 75-inch model.

I've bought 3 of these, a 50 for my grandmother's living room and 2 43s for my aunt's bedroom and my office. They're one of the best bang for your buck TVs.
Pro tip: if you don't want to have to let it connect to your wifi just to use it as a basic TV, do the "store" set up option up front, not the "home" option. If you go the "home" route it demands access to your network just to use it at all.
I'm so surprised there's no affiliate link to buy below! You guys deserve all the support possible! Def should put one in video description

Great to see affordable TV's getting publicity!
I can't believe they do a 720p version. Wow it's a TV from 2005.
do they have a digital optical out port?
I don't feel bad about my TCL Q5 now lol. Wish I didn't get a bad panel
Back in the day tv reviews included tuner performance. Not everyone streams their local TV stations. It doesn't make sense when OTA has better image quality. I'd like to see sites like this include it in their reviews.

As @highdefnews175 pointed out, we did publish our written review back in November and we're just getting the video review out now! Expect more reviews to be coming to this channel soon!
Question about the sound quality - I hear that most modern TVs do not have great sound, but I don't have a point of comperison to an older TV. I've got a 2012 Emerson 32" TV that I've finally gotten sick of. Can I reasonably expect that a modern TV will at least match the sound of a decade-old TV, or is there a reason I shouldn't assume that?

Televisions and Monitors have the same screen sizes. What a strange time.
Are these similar to the Insignia and ONN brands of TVs? Havent found reviews of those bargain basement LEDs

I wouldn't do that. Lower end TCL's have a lot of screen uniformity issues. I have this ROKU tv & it's a very good tv for the price.

Yep TCL uniformity is crap. Never had issues with Roku so I'm trashing another TCL and getting another Roku
