Every single one time it happened

The ways in which these little dungeon crawl games have used other game types as miscellaneous randomization mechanics have gotten pretty wild.

@@SoulReaverVidView This game does have a weird counterbalancing factor where 'nicer' items are larger, though, meaning you can't pick up as many at once. I think the warmhammer is still worth it, but it's worth remembering that often you'll end up only picking up 1 warhammer and 1 dagger, as opposed to picking up 3 daggers and 1 shield. Makes it a less clear-cut choice over games like Slay the Spire, where the number of actions you have per turn is less... messy.

@@falleithani5411 It is also worth remembering that Tom was playing. A man who has a success rate of going left or right in Peglin in the single digits. I'm sure he recognized that big items probably wouldn't fit him well.

I'd argue that even if you grab less at once, that sounds loaded enough to be worth it. Sometimes you only get 1 or 2 items anyway

Survives solely by blocking and chooses to remove half his shields. Amazing.

Tom taking the dark sword over every other good option ??? Tom specs into armor/spikes and poison and talks about there being too many items... still grabbing extra daggers ??? Tom is an enigma

Claw machine? I wonder what carnival/arcade machine will be transformed into being the core fight mechanism in a roguelite game. How about darts? Or scratching cards? Who knows!

@@Pattoe That could actually go hard, I just like imagining all the stupid things it could introduce that shake up the coins. Like a roach that runs over the pile and the very delicately balanced ones get tipped by it.

The game looks very fun, but it could use some work on the music front.

I think this is the music from that game Rogue Tower on steam? it's not synced up with the footage anyway edit: I don't think it's rogue tower but it's definitely from something else

max claw using things twice is so much better than a 3rd claw because you have unique items; and a very big thing you missed is big shield doubles your block, meaning with just 1 shield you'd gain 90 block.

Loved that, really fun concept.

What a cool game! I hope to see more (and I'll probably check it out, myself).

I knew Tom would love this game the moment I saw it.

Daily reminder that Tom is an amazing person and to thank him for all he has done/will do - Day 1587 OOOO what a fantastic little game, such a cool idea, and so cute aswell :D. Having the claw be the main Mechanic is similar to that of the Pachinko of Peglin, where in a sense you have some control, but there is an aspects that are out of your control, one example in this setting being how things can slip out of your claw. I would honestly love to see more of this game, looking at the different builds and such, also MOTHS (And god, Strong Moth I really thought would be the death of Tom)
