Is Tom's colour vision impaired? I never have trouble telling when I have crit. Maybe he is doing it on purpose.

theres also a chance it uses the ttt style of editing. Since we dont actually SEE anything, theres a chance Josh or someone else moves around the voice lines to help get rid of dead air, or to fit something tom said in a part that got cut. Dont get me wrong, theres a 90% chance tom doesnt know red means crit after nearly 50 episodes, but you gotta give a little credit

I feel like the dice completely ruins the consistency of the build by preventing you from building a consistent low base damage, high crit deck

Yeah, i think it's a pretty worthless relic because on average its still +0/+0. Maybe if the effect was -2 or +3 then it wouldn't feel so bad to use. Its only ok if you have an extra discard since you can discard 2 bad rolls instead of just one, but with the discard = ballusion it's just bad.

It’s good if you have a lot of orbs because you can discard the bad rolls, so the effect isn’t 0/0.

theres higher difficulty modes that get unlocked called Cruciball, its like ascension levels in other roguelikes. Tom usually plays at a pretty low level of it for videos despite having most of them unlocked. Toms videos have stuck at playing at 1-5 out of like 20

Tom has talked before about how he often has runs that fail or are just uninteresting. He specifically mentioned that the knight lines inn the second area give him some of the most deaths. So yes he doesn't show us many of his losses, but it's on purpose because those runs don't show very much of the game and don't have the time to be unique/interesting since they end so early.

Dice builds always spoil it for me, there's too much going on for me to follow. Silly or broken builds can be entertaining, but having to build around the die isn't fun to watch.

Every time Tom doesn't take the morb, I get a little sad. It's such a good relic if you give it a chance.
