The reason why they act like this is because the IOPC doesn't deal with this low level of complaint and also their sergants and inspectors would sweep this under the carpet they all stick up for each other wether they're in the right or wrong

The rail staff knew the police would do nothing when he hit you.

If it was the other way around and you pushed the rail employee, you'd have four coppers on top of you immediately, then arrested, charged and prosecuted for assault.

The British public must never forget the various Crimes committed by members of this UK wide Organistion over the past four years alone, some the most Heinous and Depraved kind....a Police Uniform does not mean the wearer is any more Honourable, Moral, Trustworthy or....Law Abiding than Anyone else in Society...

Usually means a lot less. The ordinary citizen does not feel entitled to follow people about in the street and insist that they listen to them. "Listen to me! Listen to me!" That is their attack cry. If you say "Go away - I don't want to talk to you" they should go away and leave you alone.

This, whilst unsurprising, is a shocking indictment of what is so wrong with the Met Police. Seems unfair that a person carrying out a lawful activity is vilified by those supposedly upholding the law. That woman copper was a disgrace to humanity. Awful, they are in special measures, the Met Chief openly says there are some bad cops and they still behave like that. Great video as ever YS.

He wasn’t sure how to act after he tried to grab your camera but once he realised the police were advancing on you he joined in with them

That is assault ..simply asking a question and he goes hands on for no reason. The camera was not in his face, so that PC/lying copper saying it was needs to learn lie down not while walking. Great job standing up for yourself as per. Make sure you put in a major complaint as it is clear that guy has gone hands on before.

the last cop claims that "he can not give an opinion as he wasn't there"...as if that ever stopped them from backing up their colleagues...excuses, lies, are chucked out by cops all the time no matter whether they were witness to an in incident

Police behaviour is getting worse and worse. This audit shows how easily they turn a blind eye when it suits them and how naturally they lie. Putting this into context, a simple camera caused this reaction and yet so much wrong doing is exposed as they fight against accountability and transparency.

Yip just about sums up the attitude of so many of our police officers shameful.

Isn't it amazing how they are always willing to comment on a member of the publics behaviour but when it comes to one of their own...

Request the station manager's bwc footage, it will clearly show you were standing well behind.

I hope you at least filed complaints. Here in the U.S., their refusal to take your complaint would constitute Derelection of Duty and each officer would be personally lible for $10,000 settlement fine.

Special Measures are obviously working well then! I think they've got worse when it comes to people lawfully filming. Actually making a complaint, at the scene, is practically impossible.

Why do the police need to be taught the law by the public? Abusing powers, blatantly lying. You were completely ignored, then harassed. The least is loss of promotion opportunities to those that will cover up what was clearly an assault against you. And loss of job for the manager that committed the assault. @25:20 Classic police, when asking how to proceed with a complaint about an officer, the police you're talking to - literally - start to walk away . . . Then when you ask should I go to the IOPC ? The response is, no, go to the police station, get a supervisor to look at the footage . . lol . . Yeah, don't go to the IOPC, let the supervisor cover it all up first / fob you off.

I think that the Krays would have been proud of the police evasion tactics here.

Glad you pointed out that is not Thames House! People tend to have heard of MI5 but much less so MI6/SIS. Add into it the iconic nature of Vauxhall Cross, it’s easy to see how the confusion happens. Stand on Vauxhall Bridge and look east and you’ll see Thames House on the north side of the river immediately to the right of Millbank Tower. I’ve been in Thames House 4(or 5?) times when I stupidly applied for a job there. It’s a lot more modern looking inside now, than the exterior might suggest.

You should have pressed Charges on the Station Manager especially if he was standining in a Public area. So this group of Police Officers allowed someone to get away with a physical assault. Telling him to phone 101 when Officers were right there is ridiculous.
