Thanks for the shout out dude. I still have my pipes on but besides the annoying sound I always find I bang the uprights on the far side lol.

Great video. Which bumper plates are you using in this vid?

The pipe isn't necessary with a 1" solid piece of steel rod.

How long is the pin pipe? You have the smaller monster cage right?

in a tight space with little front/rear clearance, straps seem much better preferred. I do wonder if my teenager will set straps correctly when I'm not around though. Also wonder - are you denting your crossmembers when you deadlift?

hey chris......after watching i'd too decided to upgrade to the safety strap . the pin was getting annoying to use . lol my question is......did you had to take it apart the hook it on to the rack? . your rack uses the the 24in safety straps right? is it too tight or too loose?

Mine are the 30" depth ones. Mine fit perfectly on mine. But yes! the pins are terrible!

@@ChrisPinedo ah....my rm390f has a 24inch depth. . I noticed these safety strap are not installed like the jcup. How are they hook/latches on?

do you lift outside the rack with jcups? how stable is lifting outside the rack?

Sorry for the VERY late reply. It's pretty stable lifting outside of the rack. I wouldn't recommend SUPER heavy weight unless it's bolted down.

I wish these safety straps would use pop pins so you could slide them up and down with one hand. Check out the "Bodycraft RFT" for an example of what I'm talking about.

Hey whats the purpose of the metal sleeves over the rod anyway?

You just don’t want to hang the barbell on the metal

Great video! About the length of the safety strap, would you recommend it to be the same as the depth of the power rack or slightly longer? My power rack depth is 30inch. I am not sure if I should go with the 30inch one or the 43 inch one. Thank you!

Definitely get the one that is same as your rack!

Came here because I just mounted my monster lite rack and the worst thing are the pipe safeties. Horrible work from Rogue. They should put the straps by default or build something less sturdy. Straps are too expensive tbh

They should come by default but it’s a smart business move as an up sell

Takes me 10 seconds each to move the pins. What’s the point?
