Love these videos! I won't ever play on unfair difficulty... but this leads to such good insight on the different classes. Much appreciated!
Love your vids man. You're filling a unique niche with them. Keep it up. You deserve way more subs!
Intimidating rogue is scary. Two weapon fighting and teifling motherless let's you get a bite. Thats 3 attacks at lvl 1. You can get a cloak that gives 1d6 cold dmg on bite and trips. Each hit while flanking allows sneak attack. Pop 3 lvls of mad dog barbarian with boon companion and you get an animal companion that is large with 5 attacks itself on a charge attack.
I agree danger sense is pretty useless on a barbarian, it's not a good idea to play minesweeper with any character. But danger sense for a rogue makes sense and is good, especially if you're adverse to reloading for better saves. If a character makes a bad enough roll when disarming a trap, they can trigger that trap. A rogue that can successfully dodge a trap they accidentally triggered when disarming can dodge that trap, and danger sense is a big help toward that end.
Valerie gets really nice with Thug levels due her "high" Charisma... Great video as always :D

Thug valerie. nice combo :D
What would be Kaze no kama build equivalent for Pathfinder?
Why did you choose Hellspawn? Can you explain what to do with that? Do I need to dip into Wizard/Scion to get the benefits of that origin?
I find Rouges to be Very good in melee after level 5 for three reasons. 1st is that sneak attack applies to every Attack they make, so abilities like Two Weapon Fighting, Outflank, Combat Reflexes, and Opportunist are amazingly good. 2nd, Rouges can De-Buff enemies with sneak attack, so a -8 to AC or Attack rolls for enemies pretty much negates the Unfair difficulty setting. 3rd, Rouges talents can be used to learn Fighter feats via the combat trick option. Only enemies immune to sneak attack render the Rouge useless: Elementals, Golems, and Undead.

@@stefanhansen8623 You're right. In tabletop Pathfinder and this game only incorporeal things and things without a fixed/defined anatomy, like oozes, are immune to sneak attack. So you can use sneak attack on undead and constructs. Elementals are probably also immune since they don't have weak points and are just a mass of material/energy that may or may not have a vaguely humanoid shape.

There seems to be so much conflicting information out there 😅
main character rogue is really good option. you can solo many parts and gain free levels with trap clearing. for main you shouldnt lower stats like this but make an all round stat distrubiton
I don't understand why you said that rogue is only 40% effective in combat. Look at Nok-Nok, with all the buffs he kills bosses in one round, not a single class can do that, this is the best single target damage class. The only problem is sneak attack and crit immune monsters

It need two weapon fighting to obtain the last attack or two shot with bow. Full BAB can use two handed weapons.
Eldrich scoundrel makes better archer than eldritch archer, scoundrel has a full wizard spellbook with some nice spells like hurricane bow and sense vitals. Not sure if this class is viable on unfair though, this difficulty is quite restrictive to classes and builds.

ES clearly has multi-classing wizards in mind; Octavia (with her abysmal Constitution) is not only my least-liked companion, but also falls totally into that category. I strongly prefer other rogue types; and also pure designated spell casters, Druids, Clerics, Sorcerers, Wizards, are all at the end of the day far(!) more powerful. The fairest comparison, when properly multi-classed, may be to a Bard: More fragile, and not quite as helpful to the party as the Lord of the Buff, who also has Spontaneous Casting. With a similar amount of skill monkey-ness . But (most often) with significantly higher DPS, and some higher level spells at the disposal. Still, with two open team slots, Linzi, Jubilost, and Octavia at the disposal, I would likely pick the two former most of the days.
Hey my mtg buddy didnt know u did these too.
what are some good multiclasses for rogue?

Vivisectionist. Buffs and the mutagen will make you hit hard.

Barbarian 3 lvls mad dog gives you full bab, fort, and if you take boon companion you can get your smilodon to large by doing 17 rogue /3barb.
The Guides for WotR are so awful, I had to look one up here on the old one. Well, now I know how Sneak Attacks work :P I thought I had to hit from Stealth or be invisible...
Just as Slayer is what the Fighter should be, the un-implemented Investigator is a better skill-monkey than the Rogue.
hi. how the fuck do you use stealth to open up... if you open you die cause tank needs to go first so whats the point ? no ambushing ?
