You are right they did which was, a real shame and possible just a cock up.... Bbc should air it tomorrow!! I suggest we all email Ken Bruce show which is advertised to ask them.

Surprisingly, they even didn't play proper album version. They played some "radio" mix with more prominent vocals with a) less effects applied on Rog's vocals or b) with less multitracking and overall clearer sound. The album version has different sound, but yes, they should play this live sessions version instead.

Read the comments, after once more enjoying this new music of Roger and company. I have the CD which I put on repeat as I take care of household chores - the lyrics inform and soothe. No matter your station in life - 'tri n' to get by' is a fairly universal state. Beautiful music here! Thanks Roger!!!

I love Roger's voice and a lot of his tracks but from Nazis 1994 onwards he has tended towards a lot of repetitive lyrics which is a real shame.

Firstly who is anyone to say 'you can't because it's not you that's struggled' and secondly if you applied that to all songs hardly anyone would ever write a legitimate tune and by your view thousands of classics, often written by already rich and more to the point artistically successful songwriters, carry no weight at all and shouldn't have been written. Bonkers.

@@theaterpup3466 I'm lucky, I live a reasonably comfortable life. I don't don't have to worry too much about money or living. But I'm not gonna preach to people we ate all in the same boat. Some people are on canoes and others are on yachts. Massive difference.
