Two last songs from Roger's gig at Manchester Academy.
"Rock'n'Roll" is a cover of Led Zeppelin and "Heroes" is David Bowie track.
That was a great night which has finished with stunning versions of these two songs.

Fabulous voice still. He always had a high range.
Roger always had a fantastic voice and a fantastic drummer. I still watch them every night and he was the cutest thing ever ❤️ still looks 🔥

You missed a brilliant concert I saw him in Bath and it was terrific.
Can't believe the pan shot of the audience. This is a great cover and the crowd are like ice.

Sounds very enthusiastic to me. You want them to pogo? LOL
A couple of observations: 1) That drummer is AMAZING! 2) Roger can really sing! “I’m in love with my car” was NOT a fluke! 3) I need a velvet smoking jacket.

On point #2 - strange that you got it only from this video, as Roger proved that fact with all his career and solo albums.

Perfectamente podría haber sido un cantante famoso en otro grupo con esa voz.
I have been watching lots of clips of his last couple shows on KZread and enjoying every minute of it. I hope they have an official concert DVD release, somewhere down the line. I'd love to hear it captured properly. However, in the meantime, thanks for posting! 🙂

THIS VERSION IS FABOULOUS THE VOICE SOUND EXACTLY LIKE ROBERT PLANT, AND THE HEROES VERSION ITS FANTASTIC TOO¡¡¡ROGER ITS ALWAYS BE A GREATH MUSICIAN, BUT IT NO EASY LIVE TOGETHER WITH MONSTERS LIKE FREDDIE AND BRIAN..... LONG LIVE TO YOU ROGER.............
The session band are very good as you'd expect. I had no idea that Roger did solo shows.

Almost three members at the stage (excluding Roger) are also part of touring Q+AL band. Roger released his 6th solo album on 1st October 2021, and he decided to rock with his UK Outsider Tour. Tour will end on 22nd Oct'21 in London.

Went to this gig in Manchester, but my wife took ill during the support act, ( Colin McCloud ) Who was great. So spent the whole night in the medical room back stage. Thankfully got to see his Liverpool show. The band played Rock It (prime jive) from the Queen album The Game, without Roger on stage and they were absolutely fantastic. A Great Band
Better late than never for a solo career!!! Fantastic show and audience too almost without cellphones!!!!

if i got rock history right it was Roger T and John D that were friends with Bowie in the late 1970's/80's Bowie and Freddy become friends later in the 1980's

Actually, Roger and Bowie finished Under Pressure, according to Brian. He said everyone else left the studio.

Bowie's line sounds harder to handle by Taylor. But Taylor took Plant stuff with ease. just the impression to me.... He did pretty nice for both

bassist it's the same that plays with Queen and Adam Lambert (Neil Fairclough) and the drummer if i'm not wrong it's Tyler Warren, who plays percussion with Queen and Adam Lambert (replacing Rufus Taylor), and of course Spike Edney on keyboards.

Some may be surprised at the amount of big Queen songs which were not written by Mercury (Radio Ga Ga, We will Rock you, You’re my best Friend, Another one Bites the Dust, Brighton Rock, Flash, I want to Break Free, Kind of Magic, Who Wants to Live Forever, plus many great album tracks). The mystery is why the others all seemed to stop writing after his death, and began the sad decline into becoming their own tribute act with an X-Factor wannabe.

So devastating must've been Freddy's last days and death. An atomic bomb to them. Glad Roger is back and he's the best by far.

Why do they still need to write as a band? Look what happened when they released 'Cosmos Rocks' with Paul Rodgers. Nobody gave it any attention. Besides, people want to hear the Queen hits. Why do you think the Q+AL shows sell so well? Why mess with the proven formula? They are making plenty of money and keeping the Queen name (and Freddie's memory) alive and well.
