@@PlayOnTabletop yes i think it hit the spot using the clone wars narrator voice, it was like how they made each battle a marathon just like starship troopers, it gets your gears moving into that "being apart of the movement" that Clone Wars gave us

Fish tank decor is a great way to get cheap natural terrain like this especially for star wars since a lot of the plants and trees are multi colored

Shadow collective vs Republic, with either Anakin or Obi proxied with Ahsoka, would make a good representation of the Clone Wars finale Hopefully your sixth episode of Legion airs well after the release of Dark Trooper/Gideon, so you can incorporate them and Din Djarrin in a game.

I love watching you guys play Legion, it's my favourite wargame of all, just a small bits about the game: 1. Yoda command cards do get back to your hand depending in which one you play. 2. All force users have deflect (or some variant) that says that when you use a dodge token against a ranged attack and you get a surge, the defender receives one wound!. I hope to see more Legion on your channel guys :)

Unfortunately that is not a standard legion mechanic. Thought the spider droids do have an ability where they can self destruct when on low wounds to make a big explosion.

You dont know how happy you guys have made me and my friends who have been trying out this game and absolutely love it and its simple to learn and dynamic gameplay. Thank you guys hope to see more! Definitely looking forward to a shaodw syndicate game.

I'm confused why the shutterfly craft didn't roll defense dice at 8:10? You can't cancel the crits with abilities but you still get to roll defense dice for them :)

Nick you played the 2pip yoda card but used the effect of the 3pip card 2. You also can not use force barrior at yourself 3. You can not use shields in melee 4. You forgot to use pierce on yodas sauer in combat with the Tank 5. The weakpoint of the tank only converts 1 hit into a crit 6. You can reuse yodas command cards. Depending on what you played priviously

I love those legion episodes. They have only gotten better too. Fantastic terrain and minis, well done.

Great production quality on these! One major thing you missed though was you often forgot to use the pierce keyword on Yoda’s saber, and the wookie bowcasters! Yoda would actually have taken out the tank if you remembered with that 1 pip and the other wookies actually should have scored many more hits

You know what would be really fun to see? Droids vs. Empire!

@@ButchersNailsEnjoyer Absolutely upvoted! Seeing you guys do Kamino terrain would be amazing! And the battle of Kamino, with Bobba Fett leading 501st Stormtroopers against clones, was one of the coolest battles in Star Wars before it got retconned out by Bad Batch. 😁

I don't think I ever saw a channel with such well made and nicely edited tabletop videos. Dynamic camera angles, bullet effects, well implemented dice cam, very nice to look at terrain/miniatures and likable players. Hot damn diggedy... that's a subscription alright.

When Tyco activated B1 droids, their had to attack first, without aim. This is how work AI attack.

Tycho just rolling white dice saves like nobody's business. Love this game so much better than last battle on kashyyyk! I'm not a legion player but I'm interested in the game system, however when tak's vehicle was stationary the WHOLE game it seemed ridiculous. Love ya guys anyway! Can't wait to get the lvlup definitely not their🙃

The AAT is really strong and in my opinion best vehicle in the game . I love being able to to double fire with the main gun when I don't have to move.

Need to have many more Star Wars battles on this channel please!!

If you are considering more games, can I suggest Star Wars Armada (an amazing game that I think you guys will LOVE!!) and maybe Dropfleet Commander. Both are fleet combat games that will be a little different to the smaller model games you guys do so skillfully

At 29:30 you forgot to use Yoda's Pierce2 to cancel 2 blocks on the first attack and both his blocks on his second attack. The tank should have taken 5 total wounds between both attacks, killing the AAT!

i think the bowcaster wookie rolled double dice first attack, and you might have forgotten Yoda's pierce on his lightsaber, other than that didn't really notice any rules errors Excellent report! love seeing star wars content on your channel. I know I'd love to see a empire vs clone match made to simulate the mission in battlefront 2, as well as a rebels vs CIS using the Onderon as it's match, or a droids vs Empire matchup again in the style of battlefront 2 as that game is absolutely perfect and any slander to it's name is cringe

Love these battle reports! couple notes though! The ARC troopers have tactical 1, so they gain an aim token when you perform a standard move action with them, which could have been used to reroll the attack on the spider droid! Second, when the droid trooper with the rocket launcher shot at the Raddaugh Gnasp, the hit should have been converted into a critical due to impact, rather than being removed from cover. Third, the clone trooper unit with the dc-15 sniper should not have converted the hit dice into a critical, as the critical keyword only converts surge results into criticals. Fourth, Guardian on Chewie in GAR only activates if a friendly commander unit is shot, denoted by the symbol next to the keyword on his card (it sucks i know), but if intending to use it this way, Chewie would have used red defense dice while resolving guardian, due to the Size Matters Sometimes command card. Fifth, on the start of the second turn you used the There Is No Try command card but read and used the effects for Luminous Beings Are We, Yoda's 3 pip. Sixth, when using the Overrun attack on the Droid trooper unit, since it does not count as a ranged attack, the unit does not gain a suppression from being hit, only 1 from the suppressive keyword, which does not need a hit to be applied to a unit. Neither does the attack count as an action, thus the fluttercraft may have moved once again to potentially have performed another attack. I 'enjoy' legion way too much as it may seem clear and im thankful everyone at Play on Tabletop is giving it a look and giving it the exposure it sorely requires!

The fluttercraft does not have armor so impact cannot be applied against it.

Awesome match and you really did stick pretty close thematically except for using Phase 1 Troopers in standard armor as opposed to Jungle Warfare Troopers (sorry mega nerd haha) it was amazing. Question, I really love the gameplay itself and the tactics but don’t necessarily have the painting skills. Are there any vendors or sites where I can order the mini’s from pre-painted so I can play right away?
