Back in 1977 .Me and my girlfriend listen to this song and we both loved it. and the most of Supertramps songs . Today i am 65. Memories...........

Supertramp supergroup. Miss the 70s so much. ...and the 80s.

I got turned on to supertramp in college in 1979...man this brings back good memories.

Pretty much anyone else would cancel. Roger Hodgson performs at 4am. What a man.

Wow, THAT'S real good music! No effects, no dancers, no ego trip...Just good old rock, with an ageless message! Awesome!

it's simply impossible to describe how much Supertramp contributed to my generation. I listen to all kinds of music nowadays. But my angst-ridden teenage years were dominated by Supertramp, ELO and Pink Floyd. Wasn't a bad way to grow up...

Amazing.... 68 years old this year and his voice still sounds as powerful as it did 40 years ago.

4.00am, not only flawless vocals and guitar but his saxophonist was also brilliant. This is one of my all time favourite youtube clips

I was on the front row when he sang this at one of his concerts, hand in hand with my wife. He gave us one of the warmest smiles. A lovely human being 👏👏

If you don't like this, don't talk go me a lot. Roger Hodgson you are the best! Keep doing what you are doing for as long as you can, and I will keep listening...

June 2020! No voice help; his voice is just, as it sounds on recording. Perfect. 👏

Absolutely wonderful. The fact that it's 4 AM and everyone was waiting makes it that much more precious. Way to go, Roger! Not a pretentious, egotistical bone in his body.

Class act and a true professional. Up all night on a white knuckle flight and still put on an authentic show of excellence. I wish I was there.

I'm entirely sure that the crowd must have thinned before Roger arrived. And for him to give his all for those who were still there, at such a late hour, is truly heroic. MUCH respect for him, the fans, and the tech crew.

Absolutely. I've got a Supertramp compilation somewhere and Give A Little Bit is one of my favourites but I don't know that much about the band. I doubt if many people would have blamed him for pulling out, especially when one considers that this show took place on the Faroe Islands, a fairly remote place with a small population. The fact that he went ahead with the show at 4 a.m. says a lot about his integrity as a person and as a musician. It also shows the deep respect he felt towards the Faroe Islanders themselves. The world needs more people like him.

To be fair, he could sing the phone book and we would be happy. He truly is a force of nature. Not quite Jon Anderson but right up there with Pavorotti and maybe even the great Barry White.

@@geoffpoole483 Absolutely, thanks. There are 18 different islands in the Faroes and people had no doubt traveled from some of the remote islands to be there. It was great for him hold the concert despite the delays.

This song takes me back to my teenage years and still sounds great and makes me smile which the whole world needs to do in these uncertain times

My grand daughter loves this tune. She is 6. Had to buy her the cd and a player to play it on. Blew my mind. She's like, "Papa you know this song"? I'm like hell yeah, grew up with this band in the day. LOL. Old Rock n Roll will never die!

🥀Beautiful Song amazing lyrics, vocals are Powerful but soothing and unique. I love this song and this Man he's an amazing singer song writer talents beyond his own time. I've heard this song all my life it seems but he sounds the same!! I love this Man he waited until 4am to play because of plane delays Ohmygosh he's beautiful inside and out. I love you and your tunes. I was born into music by my Dad he was inducted into the Country music hall of and honor in Macon, Ga. in 1987 singer song writer so I can imagine that you love your passion for music I can feel your word's! Look at how young the audience is. This is glorious...Glorious. some of the world’s most beautiful rock music being passed through the generations. As a father who is about to introduce my 13-year-old daughter to Breakfast in America (different album, but, still) I can’t love this enough. Thank you for this.

I was in school centuries ago when I first heard this song, and it totally blew me away. Loved it then, still love it now.
