I agree. Love the Thais. Always felt safe fighting in Thailand. When I'm losing I'll acknowledge it...and my opponent usually just kind of throw weak shots at me or we just dance around each other till the final round ends. I do the same for my opponent if they acknowledge they're losing and does not want to engage as much anymore. Not in North America.....opponent usually want to take your head off.

Lmao he was trying to throwing everything he could to finish him , telling the ref to stop the fight to wipe the blood was so he could give himself a breather . People at this level don’t go out of their way to let their opponents stick around and if you actually fought you’d know how disrespectful what you said is...

He was merciful as long as his opponent could still withstand the shots. If Williams had faltered and shown weakness, Rodtang would've responded appropriately. He showed so much respect at the end of the fight because Williams took it all, never gave up and gave it back hard. Go hard, get and give respect. My coach visits Master Toddy every few years or so, in Thailand, with his students. The people there are extremely respectful. Americans also look like giants over there.

you can tell when williams raised rodtang's hand at the end that he thought of this fight as more a learning experience than anything and already knew rodtang won.

If Daniel wouldn't have thrown that first spinning elbow that he missed, I think Rodtang wouldn't have gotten emotional and started about 40 elbow strikes that landed. You have to change levels with Rodtang because he is always changing. Headhunting and spinning hoping for a miracle would be like hitting the lottery Daniel is super tough, and it was an exciting fight he put up
