Rodney Dangerfield Has Jackie Gleason Bursting Out in Laughter (1970)
Комедия
Rodney Dangerfield was one of the final guests on The Jackie Gleason Show, which had ran in various forms from 1952 to 1970. After a quick chat, Jackie gave the stage to Rodney to perform some of his classic stand-up. Originally aired February 7, 1970.
1:47 “I just broke up with my psychiatrist. This afternoon, for the first time I told him I got suicidal tendencies. He told me from now on I have to pay in advance.”
4:30 “When I drink, the next day I have to do two things. I gotta try to locate my car, and I gotta bring back the car I took.”
6:34 “It’s a rough school. I looked in the graduation book. Each kid has two poses, one front and one profile.”

Yup and I'd add Don Rickles to that group.
Only comedian that can crack me up, without dropping F-bombs.
I've loved Rodney Dangerfield since I was a kid back in the 60s.
I’m here in May 2022. For this gold standard.
Johnny Carson: Rodney, it’s great to see you again. How are you doing? Rodney: Hey, Johnny, I’m very excited, you know? I just finished my first book. Johnny: That’s great, Rodney. Congratulations. Rodney: Yeah, and now I’m planning to read another one.
Two masters of comedy..Love them both...Gleason was "The Great One"..but Rodney was the king of one liners...
I miss him. Thanks Rodney for all the laughs!!!
I respect the fact this aired the day after I was born. The doctor held me up and smacked me. I found out later the nurse got a few in too.
"My wife, I tell ya...my wife she used to be scared of the dark...then she saw me naked. Now she's scared of the light." Ba ha ha

Not only do I miss Dangerfield who's easily one of my favorite comedians of all time but I surely miss comedy like this too.
I’m 40 years old and this is the first time ever watching one his sets! He’s definitely a great!!! 2022!!!
Rodney Dangerfield looks the same in the 1970's and the 1990's. He was an amazingly funny throughout his career.
