Rode NTH100-M Review, Is This A Good Headset For Gaming??

Ойындар

Rode has a "new" headest out, with a new mic inclluded. So naturally I wanna see if it's a solid choice for gaming or not and is it worth the price point?

So looking at a few reviews, with pc/laptops with decent built in sound cards, the mic sound amazing for a one integrated with the headphones, and also the headphones are quite decent for their price without the mic. I'm looking for good all rounders mainly for work meetings, some sound and movie playback, and I'm starting to think that this is the best one available where I don't need an XLR interface, or at least a mic stand. The price isn't low, but a good usb mic also isn't cheap, and it won't sound better without a good stand, and those also cost quite a bite, and are not designed to be moved, while I'm quite sure I could easily take those into a backpack and have pretty much full mobility of the setup with my laptop. At the same time these are cheap compared to high end jabra headsets, and those don't sound nearly as good, and aren't as comfortable. Any input on this subject would be appreciated.

Try the Rode on XBOX series x/s to see if you have the same issue, if it works well in that scenario then stop recommending PS5 instead of the NTH100-M. Sound fair to you?

How much background noise does this mic pickup in a noisy environment? It sounds like there's a pretty audible hiss from it in the video... Not sure if the gain was set too high (though the voice sounded very clear with no distortion so I doubt that is the case)

I think Rode sounds nicer with rock. Not necessarily better but more likeable. You can also EQ Rode to get very close to DT770 so sound is not as a big issue here. You also confused the clamping force a little bit. Rodes clamp most probably because they're newer, but that's not a point I want to make. This is where gamers and amateurs often don't get studio headphones. These things have steel headbands. They're meant to be bent by the user to fit their head shape. Every head is different but these are industry standard headphones so they're designed to be adjustable and long lasting, so if it squeezes your head, just give it a stretch and problem is solved. Unfortunately for Beyerdynamic, the sliding parts are aging badly. After a few years they get fragile and at one point you'll give them a stretch and one of the sliders will crack. Replacements are expensive but luckily there are 3d printed alternatives, which are stronger and cheap.

    您好 ,我的英文不好,所以我看不太懂您的影片 我想請教您,這款耳機對於射擊遊戲例如CSGO,是否能更清楚的聽到腳步聲?
