My parents were dwarf zookeepers. They eventually perfected the trick of stealing food from the elephants.

I love that Sir Rod has such a wholesome hobby as his trains. The man could do anything in this world he wanted and he loves trains. I would love to see a documentary that showcased his hobby. I'd bet it's something to behold as (to me) he does not seem the type to do anything half-assed.

I remember Rod Stewart came into a pub I worked in at East Finchley many years ago. He left an envelope behind the bar when he was leaving and said get drinks all round with this when I'm gone. So he drove off in his big white limo. There was a teabag in the envelope. TRUE STORY

when Rod lived in Bel Air, in the 80's, i worked for a carpenter that worked for Rod (when he was with Kelly Emberg; she was pregnant). One morning I got an early call sending me directly to Bel Air. A pipe had burst in the bathroom in the "train room" and flooded it. I spent a few hours that morning in that room clearing out the water and carpet and so on, and was pretty blown away with his hobby. You had to squat down at the door and go under the track, coming up in the middle of the whole shebang, this landscaped train thing he had built, it was wacky. He painted/constructed everything, all the trees, the little people... there was a full populated replica of Victoria Station in one corner, complete with the turntable that sends trains from various gates down whichever track. The whole room was an immersive experience. I was floored...

Listen to the Faces, and "Every Picture Tells a Story" (backng band was the Faces). He was great then. His solo career from Atlantic Crossing on is not worth listening to.

I just seen him the other night and he put on an amazing show. One of the best concerts I’ve been to. He definitely has stage presence and I laughed more than I have at any other concert. So happy to have seen him!

This was a treat to watch. What wonderful chemistry they have together.

Two very charming and likeable men.

I could watch both of them all day. So wonderful to see the love for each other. It's like to brothers hanging out. Jimmy Carr and Rod Stewart are extremely awesome. Both of them seem so down on Earth that you can approach them and talk to them like it's so amazing. The way Rod Stewart love's his son is so precious.

Bet Jimmy wrote that round off as business expenses 😂

Spare organs. At Rod's age he needs constant upgrades to keep his body working at all, so he needs to keep a donor within reach at all times. At this point I'm pretty sure the only original part is his face, the doctors just keep working full time to make sure that he can still stay up and singing.

When you pay 2% tax I guess you can afford to buy your entire audience a drink. haha, I love Jimmy.
