The targetting (ball, or ops) or lack of targetting (powerhitter, spikes, hurricane) would give them hints as to what they had. Your suggestion is what I thought this video would be, kinda disappointed it isn't TBH as I also think this would be a good idea.

To have better chance finding balanced combo: one player select 2 power-up, the other player chose among those 2 the one he will use, the first player has to use the remaining one.

I was hoping this video would be the random rumble power ups would go off immediately and everything would be chaos

Disruptor is bad but there were a bunch of times Rapid could've used it when Leth's car was facing away from the net, or hadn't built up enough momentum that the magnet would drag the ball when he suddenly full boosts. It's not always 100% helping the other team, and TBH magnet is one of the items it's strongest against (though that's not saying much).

I thought this would be rumble where you can't see what power you get. You should do that in 2v2.

As many comments said, rumble, but you have no idea what power up you have until you use it, would be great to watch. I don't think you'd need a mod for that. You just need something over where the rumble icon is, be it a screen overlay or a piece of duct tape.

my dumb self was thinking wait but aren't the rumble items you get already random, this isn't what i thought this meant lol

I kind of feel like it would be easier and more 'random' by using a random number generator in a set range with them labeled instead of a wheel as the wheel seemed to repeat itself alot.

grapple has a max speed and when the ball is faster the grapple displaces you negatively relative to the ball so you go backwards. its a great power for backboard clears but not for saving bangers

I would say grapple is the worst powerup, most of the times I’ve seen it been used it ends in a self goal

creators challenge for you! Same but as you press the power-up it will be random. none will know which will it be. Someone please make that mod
