Another great instructional and entertaining video. The only thing which left me guessing was the float…..was it fixed or was it running….and the other thing I am never sure about is how to determine the depth to fish with a float. Have never caught or eaten drummer but hopefully will cross that one of the bucket list when I next visit the Sapphire Coast of NSW.

Enjoyed spear fishing for luddrick an black bream growing up,great fish can be a bit weedy at times in taste, but never learnt to catch em on a rod,my grandfather used to catch em by the bucket load on a rod with just a float an some weed, GREAT CLIP MATE 👍

Hi Rodger. Just a tip when targeting drummer, use sea lettuce on the rocks where you were fishing in the video, as this will target specifically drummer or luderick rather than any pickers in the ocean.

Tony, I was fishing at Dolphin Point, but Drummer fishing is all about how the prevailing conditions impact a particular location. Drummer are on pretty much every headland along the coast. In Sydney I fished most of the headlands between Manly and Palm Beach

Awesome stuff as usual. Have you ever tried using latex cotton to secure your bait? Here in South Africa we use it alot for presentation purposes as well as; to secure your bait resulting in your bait staying on the hook longer instead of a fish sinply ripping the bait off your hook. Cheers

You are repeating the media narrative which aims to protect the tackle shop. If there was any issue or viruses with the prawns from supermarket they wouldn't sell rather chuck in the bin like they do they at the airports for food coming from overseas.

Trial and error sometimes bud , his looked to be about 2 feet under the float give or take , to deep and you hook up on the rocks and get busted cause that’s where the drummer is gunna take you. Something to think about.

The abundant sea creatures our creator placed into the sea. The delicous and succulent fruits and vegtables grown from the sands, and vasr array of minerals into the earth to harvest variety of metals and elements for what we own today.
