The City of Rocks is an international destination for rock climbing. Rock climbing at the City of Rocks National Reserve offers both trad climbing and sport climbing. All levels of climbers can enjoy the beautiful granite rocks from beginner routes to expert multi-pitches. The City of Rocks is located next to the town of Almo. Lodging is available in Almo at the Almo Inn, and other various AirBNBs. The neighboring State Park, Castle Rocks, also has a glamping yurt available. Each park, City of Rocks and Castle Rocks have camping options and RV hook-ups. Castle Rocks State Park is also known as an international climbing destination.
