City of Rocks National Reserve - A Southern Idaho Paradise

Join Jeff & Patty as they go to the City of Rocks National Reserve in Southern Idaho. It's located less than 100 miles Southeast of Twin Falls and worth the drive. There's great hiking, rock climbing, equestrian trails, birdwatching, and the California Trail runs right through the middle. If you are going to the Craters of the Moon, you should definitely take this 100-mile trip south as you will find it well worth your time.
If you camp with an RV and want hookups, Smokey Mountain Campground is where you want to go. It's just a few miles to the park and it's one of our favorite campgrounds. If you have a tent or a small RV, then try to get a spot in the City of Rocks Campground. It's all dry camping, however it's located in the center of the action.
