We're trying to figure out what to do In Lava Hot Springs. So, watched your video and found we are in exactly the same site your were! Thanks for the great content.

The hot springs and pools are THE things to do there. Lava is a small, rural Bannock County town that otherwise has few notable attractions. We always enjoyed going there when we lived in Pocatello. It's a bit too far from Boise, though.
So wonderful to see you two share your adventures with us! I have been to Mexico and back to the USA with you two! Thank you for the depth of your adventures sharing with us!
Just trying to support my RV friends that share the truth on the road! Thanks, Liz and Dennis! Keep sharing with us!
The McKenzie Pass just outside Sisters, OR is another wild place just like this. With views of Mt. Hood, Mt. Jefferson, Three Fingered Jack, Mt. Washington and the Three Sisters. That was one of our favorite areas before moving to Idaho. Lava Hot Springs is awesome! One of the nicest we've been to besides The Springs in Idaho City.

Wow this was great loved the lava fields and caves And the hot springs and your RV! Thanks!❤️😀🇺🇸🚙
The first time I saw this moon landscape was when Traveling Robert was there. It blew my mind and brought me back to visits to the Canary Island of Lanzarote. Idaho is on my bucketlist! On Lanzarote the lave hit the ocean and we still have many olivine gems we found while exploring. Thank you.

We almost made it to Craters this year… bummer about the smoke but at least you had done nice quiet”ish” time at the hot springs!
Thank you Liz and Dennis for sharing your travels with us, I am with you in my mind, but the body just say's no! (LOL)
That’s one of coolest parks we have ever been too. You feel like you are a moon scape.

Thank you! Us either really but it makes total sense.
Been to Craters many times, including camping overnight in a little Coleman dome tent with my kids - all of this before you two were born. Craters can be a challenging environment for camping or day trips, as it can be very hot in the daytime and very cold at night in the summer, and it gets way too much snow in the late fall and winter to be accessible. It's almost always windy and the dust that kicks up is gritty and smells like sulfur. Still, there's plenty to see there, especially if you enjoy going into lava tube caves. Indian Tunnel was always a favorite of my kids because there's always some daylight in there (during the day, of course). Never tried camping there in a motorhome, though. Cheers.

I wanna go there cause the serpent myth and it was in a Louie lamore story
As for lava hot springs, check out chicken noodle soup off the side of the tubing river at night, not so much company.

Craters of the Moon is a pretty cool place. So, what you guys are saying is we should go back and watch that video from 2018, right? 😀😀🤪🤪😀😀🤪. Christine is with Liz. Those hot springs do not get old.

Across the street from the Lava Hot Springs spa is the Port Neuf River tubing area, where my wife dislocated her shoulder while tubing. The person at the tubing office told us that his friend dislocated his shoulder there two weeks prior. At the Port Neuf Medical Center in Pocatello, the emergency doctor told us that they treat a lot of injuries from that spot. We should have ignored the tubing and just gone to the spa like you did. Yes, the mornings are the best there for peace and quiet.

Yikes! Sorry to hear that. I'm sure that was painful. The tubing looked fun but not with so many people.

Hey guys! I watched your video as a preparation for my upcoming visit to Craters of the Moon and found it very helpful :) Would you be able to tell me, where those mountains are that you showed at around minute 1:24 when talking about the smoke from the wildfires? They look stunning and I would like to include them into my trip :)

That was north of there near Sun Valley ID. It was a drive from that mountain range to Craters of the moon. Enjoy!
