You know how sometimes people say "how can anyone dislike this song/video" and you watch it, and you don't like it, and you feel sad and alone. This is not one of those times. No one...NO ONE...can dislike this.

I saw them live a few years back, at a bar/club. When they played this song, Dan got the whole place singing along and clapping by hopping on the bar encouraging ever body to join in singing "Robots need love too, they want to be loved by you!"

My opinion is that Dan Mangan and company are a National Treasure. Great Song.

Summer Live was amazing. Singing along to Robots with thousands of other people, Aidan Knight singing Jasper, and that guy with the robot mask being pulled up onto the stage.. This is why I love Vancouver.

Oh man his Osheaga performance was amazing- the way he engages the crowd in such a chill way yet still energizes everyone- especially the guy with the robot hat- that must have made one hell of a FB status

I have loved this song for ages now and only just found this video. Words cannot express how much I love it. It is incredible and beautifully filmed and hilarious and wonderful and it is one of my favourite things this year so far.

I think the video speaks to the idea that the world needs more compassion and less competition, especially harmful (i.e. fighting) competition.

he had us singing this in holland park, surrey and i don't think anyone could get those lines out of their head for the rest of the night ROBOTS NEED LOVE TOO! THEY WANT TO BE LOVED BY YOU!

I first heard this at camp years ago. Still makes me think of it, both in subject matter and because of when I heard it.

Saw Dan in Glasgow last night, best gig I've been to. Sang along to every song in the front row, and in the middle of Robots he brought me, my girlfriend and our friend up on stage to sing Robots need love too! Thankyou Dan for one of the best moments of my life!

I love this song even more since I got a mechanical heart valve.

A part of me doesn't want him to be famous, because I want to keep him in a little pocket for myself. But then, seeing him on television performing for Canada day makes me feel so proud for him, like I'm sending my child off to college. I feel like I've been watching him grow as an artist. Can't wait to see him perform again, tomorrow. FOR FREE! :)

Can't help but think of the movie "The Iron Giant" when I hear this song.

His Osheaga performance was one of the best of the weekend! I had heard a few of his songs prior to his performance but fell completely in love with him by the end of the set. 'Robots' was perfect.

This may be my favourite music video. Ever. Dan was at Osheaga yesterday, and this song was turned into a fantastic sing-along of "Robots need love too..." So great.
