The film does bear many similarities to the Western genre, as well as much of the general "feel." And although it is seldom described as cyberpunk, this is ironic as it actually ticks all the boxes for definitions of the genre.

"Dead or alive, you're coming with me, cowboy."

Not sure why this makes me so happy. Think it’s because of the parallels between a Robocop and a lone gunman, trying to clean up a town, where bad guys have run rampant.

Basil Paledoris wrote the music for Lonesome Dove, I'm sure he would love this rendition. Bravo
Well, way out in the old town of Detroit, a lone lawman walked into town, said he was gunna clean up the streets. Weeellll, some fellers didn't take too kindly to that, and that nice young lawman died in a hail of bullets. But The Old Man had different plans. He fixed that lawman right up with some elbow grease and boiler plates, turned him right into a walking big iron. Those fellers sure were surprised when the lawman came a-walkin' right back into town, to finish what he started.
