Mid-market video game were routinely better than most AAA titles. Think Sniper Elite, Greedfall, and the Hunt: Showdowns of the world.

They already did terminator. I’d love for a predator and aliens game with this feel and detail. Writing. The last twenty years of alien and or predator games haven’t done it. The 2007 (I think) avp game was sick. FPS, gore to the max. But it’s too clunky to play anymore. I want a modern predator game that’s a full on power trip like this game.

This game is definitely canon in my Robocop fan mind.

Would really surprise me about this game was the side characters. I really became attached to them like I really liked pickles, Samantha Ortiz, Ulysses, Washington, and Olivia Blanche.

I was obsessed with Robocop as a kid and loved drawing Cain from Robocop 2 with various modifications, missiles and cannons. This game has some beautiful haunting moments that shouldn’t be missed.

Absolutely love this review, and yes fully agree!! They really captured the Robocop essence in every aspect! ♡ It was so sweet when you walked into the media tower and had your first fight, the theme song starting to play. This quickly became my favourite game ^^

I'm so glad that Teyon proved that they can capture the essence of a license they acquire. Anyone who has played their horrible Rambo game from 2014 can let you know how far they have come.

Yeah, Robocop was said to be rated R when it was released in 1987 but the 9-year old me back then was watching it at the balcony of the theater along with my father.

Nice! You should do more video game reactions and reviews in the new year. This would be interesting.

I would love to see you do more videos on video games. Like Baulders gate 3, Elden Ring, and many smaller games like Lethal Company. Robocop Rogue City is a welcome homage to the movies.

This game is hands down the *best* video game adaptation. It completes RoboCop 2, sets up RoboCop 3, and gives us a real a real feeling of being *in* Detroit. It's funny to hear it pronounced E.D. 209, when the movie formally calls it "Ed 209".

Was a good game, Same Devs made Terminator: Resistance. which I'd say is arguably a better game. But captures the whole old school terminator apocalypse as well as this game captures the Robocop universe. I did like how in this game the bad guys could actually shoot but it really doesn't matter lol

Just 100% Platinum’ed this game (which was on sale) recently; this game deserves all the positive praise. The only thing that i can critique is that everytime you have to go into Old Detroit to do the Serve & Protect side objectives, that the city could seem livelier, even if the neighborhood looks bleak & depressing. And apparently the game is getting a NG+ update in the future so we can see more options open up to us that we couldn’t explore due to a lack of skill points

Why this video game was dissected by a movie reviewer? Because it ROCKS!! This game was a true Love Letter to Robocop. So many nods to this iconic character. Great Job!!!

Not only can Robocop bend a barrel with just one hand, but that street punk can hold his grip to provide the counterforce needed to. 1:24 That's one strong street punk.

HOLY F! This was actually good! At first thought, I was like:' Oh, god! Here we go with another dumpster fire!' BUT, just a few moments in, WOW! I'm a 80's kid, I literally grew up with these movies! LOVED the first and second one! Number three though, dumb AF! As a kid, I had the comic books and the trading cards! A wonderful homage to a franchise, actually done RIGHT! Is this game on PS4? I might get it! This franchise has a lot of similarities with Cyberpunk 2077, like this would really fit within that world!

It’s great we are at a point where graphics are so great that it can be the 3rd most important thing and gameplay or storyline can be the top priority when developing a game…so many games are either great looking but have dull controls or lame storylines…game makers should focus on gameplay first then storyline second and build the game around that lol

Dystopian Detroit is a reality.

I never heard of this game, but I want to play it now. It kind of reminds me of alien armageddon. A sequel to the last alien movie with Ripley that was made. I'm actually glad you're covering a Robocop ip, because I was thinking about actually watching a Robocop movie When I saw this thumbnail.

Peter Wellers robocop is the best. Both robocop 1 and 2 are great watches.

The irony is that because the studio couldn't get the rights for Judge Dredd, they created Robocop, but when they did get the right they did Judge Dredd with Sylverter Stallone, I think that it was better that they didn't.

I love the Robocop movies, but one thing I always kinda felt off was the turn of the CEO\Old Man from 1 to 2. In the first he really didn't come off as part of the corruption. He was very upset with the ED-209 glitch. He figured out how to save himself and allow Murphy to kill Dick Jones by firing him and then thanked Murphy treating him as human instead of a piece of OCP property. Him becoming corrupt and uncaring in the second film never sat well with me. All in all, the second film was a blast and great follow-up to the first. The third was ok.

I'm happy to call it Robocop 2.5 or the proper Robocop 3.

Haven't played it, no PS5, but as a big 80s fan, this looks good. They should do some DLCs, like... - Robocop vs Terminator (like the 1st comic, a What if... expansion, connecting it to their Terminator game, though not realy canon) - ED-209 (play as ED-209 in one segment, having a glitch, making it... smarter) - Collectibles (collect the old comics, when complete you can read them) - The Purge (Robocop in a PURGE situation sounds interesting, everybody becomes a criminal, legaly, how does Murphy react? Though this could be more of a comic. About a sequel, maybe remake the 3rd movie, make it more like the other movies & THIS game. If not, just continue after the 3rd movie, as an example, there are comics that show a Old Man Murphy against a new OCP situation years later.
