My grandmother suffers with worsening dementia and it's really sad how accurate some of it is portrayed in this game. There's always some sort of anxiousness, a need to protect themselves, and not remembering things that have just happened but instead things that have happened many years ago. My personal explanation and theory for Jim saying "there is no escape" is that there is no true escape to the mental hell these poor people are put through by their own bodies. This is a really great horror game.

Here’s the most flimsy psychological analysis I’ve ever done. I tried to go back to the numbers and letters to attempt to decode them but none of them gave any answers, so I’ll conclude that they’re all just random numbers the creator thought up of, or it simply doesn’t have that much meaning to the overall story. In this game we play as an orphaned kid named Jimmy.(I had a feeling we were actually playing as a kid ever since the start but I don’t exactly have proof of this, so just call it an intuition.) He’s diagnosed with childhood dementia, schizophrenia, and depression. The overall plot is simple. He’s a kid in a mental hospital who forgets who he is due to his schizophrenia, and often remembering false memories. “New memory unlocked” could mean that his mind is making up the stories as he goes on. He mentions that he “has to find the clock otherwise *it* will get him”. In the true ending, next to his bed are drawn clocks. “It” most likely refers to his delusions. “It” catching him means that he will forever forget his true identity and end up living in the world he’s made. In the true ending he has time to look at the clock and start to connect this delusion he’s built to reality. The clock is something that the nurses probably told him to use as a center point to come back from his episodes which is why this is written in a note. It’s so he doesn’t forget. It’s not a physical note but a mental one the nurses repeatedly tells him to remember. There’s so many drawn clocks because Jimmy constantly tries to remember the clocks and scribbles them down. Time is also something that will never make sense if you’re not lucid. My therapist has said before that an easy way to tell if I’m dreaming or not is to look at the clock. This method never worked for me because I mostly have memory problems relating to dreams, but it does help other patients. In the bad ending, he does not look at the clock and rather focus in the darkness. The note was ominous and vague, not actually saying what “it” is. Jim probably thinks it refers to some sort of schizophrenic monster that he has to defend himself from. When a certain amount of time passed he concludes that since it won’t show up, he’ll find a way out by himself and shoots himself. This could be taken as either him unknowingly succumbing to “it”, or him somehow finding a way to off himself irl while clouded by the hallucination of another life. He mentions that he never had parents or any family, so in his delusion he creates one of his own. Jane was modeled after the only feminine figure he knew which was Emily, his assigned nurse. It doesn’t necessarily mean he has a puppy crush on her, but could just be his need for a loving female figure to take care of him. The note on the bed is probably a suicide note he wrote in real life in case of him committing suicide. I can’t tell what kind of flowers are in the wedding scene because it’s a Roblox model but it could definitely be flowers he was given by the nurses similarly to how a family member would visit a patient’s bed with flowers. I’m pretty sure I’m missing a lot of things right now because I forgot to write down my thoughts. I’m also on a trip and forgot my meds at home so this definitely isn’t my best work, but I do hope this helps you understand things a bit more. Feel free to ask questions about certain parts of the game if I forgot to elaborate any because, again, I’m a bit eepy mentally and physically.

As a person who suffers from one of the three conditions (depression) the setraline dosage is honestly low, but accurate. And no, normally people with conditions like that aren’t normally allowed to live alone because they can be dangerous to themselves or others. For me, I can’t live alone due to being a danger to myself, but the accuracy in this game really just makes it hit harder than other games meant to cause uneasy feelings. psychological horror games in roblox always tend to be awesome, and this is no exception, i honestly found the true ending an genius plot twist, it makes you think that Jim is aware of us, but in reality, he's now aware of himself. i really wish i could say more about it but I'm FLABBERGASTED with this game, I really wish we can see more of Jimmy in the future as always, a Rogurt video a day keeps the sadness away, this was a banger to watch, great job on finishing another video and take care while you're in korea!!

Damn, Jim always gets a bad wrap in these games. Especially if he's holding a gun. If he has a gun, just- just don't give him a gun, he should be fine.

​@@kaminoseifuku-sha7670my aunt has 4. not exactly sure what they are but it doesn't include depression. she has to take 500$ (when converted from our currency) worth of medications and injections every month just to stay sane otherwise she literally goes insane. when she does, she starts hallucinating and blaming everyone for everything. what's the scariest is that she has the capability to kill when she's not in the right mind. she's strong as hell due to the adrenaline and rage, so every time she goes 'insane', we have to subdue her and inject her with medicine. my parents are both doctors btw.

Amazing video!

3:40 it translates to "Everyone knows that you cry." Without that last four letter word(it wont translate) I wonder what that means. As for the game itself, I think the lore behind it goes as follows: Jim was an adult, or at least in his mind. He has or had a close friend named Jane, in which he dreamed of growing up and marrying her. Jims parents tried to take care of him, but in the end, he was too much for them to handle, which is why he ended up in a hospital, and why he states he just wanted his parents by his side. Each night he goes to bed, he has a a dream which turns into a nightmare, as in his dream he wakes up from a nightmare(if that makes sense). In his dream, he had already imagined his future, and what could've been if he wasnt so ill(from what I understand, please correct me if I'm wrong). In his dream, when he woke up from the nightmare, it was a repeat of events that had happened in his dream, the car crash, his health decreasing, and such. In the end, however, he ended up breaking the cycle by finally realizing he wasn't real. His dreamself, that is. And at the very end, he ends up waking up in an actual reality, and not just a figment of his imagination. Just my take on the lore, but lmk what you think!

Jim can never catch a break

This game reminds me of a different game I found on roblox 1-2 years ago called warm isolation. There is the same eerie hallway once you get to the creepy part of the game just like it is in this one.

I think what it is is since Jimmy has a current caretaker (Emily) and whatever they're suffering from needs help and Jimmy's without a parent- kids like this tend to see their caretaker in a motherly sense or something and Jimmy might've saw Emily as a little more. I think..

Jim’s computer lore is back

Jim created his own world on his mind, where he had a wife, where his wedding happened, where he had his own home. He was hopeless, his wife died in a car accident, he was 47 years old, he got so serious about that that he even wrote a letter to God, asking why did he needed to be like that. He never was like that, he was just a kid, whose probably slept inside a mental asylum, and one of his nurses were calling him for breakfest. He wanted so much to be normal, to have a mother, that his illnesses took his mind for some time, and made him imagine that he had those. And he had to find a escape. It doesn't matter if the escape is in his mind, or if it's in real life. That is so deep, it made me think about picking the gun twice in my gameplay.
