Her newfound talkativeness is kinda annoying. The best part of her character in season three was that one way she showed her intellect was through only talking when she has to/calculating most of what she said

@@dibsdibs3495 I think part of her cooler persona in season 3 was partially from her putting up a front and not being as true to herself, because she couldn't be as open about who she truly was. Also, Robin does say that her rambling issue is fairly new in this season and acknowledges it as something she's annoyed with too.

Steve did say in season 3 that she was hyper. Her talkative nature (shown by the fact that she has a comfort zone and close friends now) is shown in full force this season, but her badass moments are still intact.

I love how after their drugged mall toilet one to one in season 3, she (Robin) can finally be herself and not mask her autism or her identity or sexuality or any part of her around Steve. She's comfortable enough and as a female living in the 80s (I know it's fictional) she won't have made many friends, had many avenues to find support or be around people like her. So Steve accepting Robin for who she is was a massive step for her and she even starts to unmask more to other people like Nancy in season 4 because she's finally found a family (unlike her mother) that just accepts Robin as one of the gang and a character that has some very good ideas and can think differently than others, which when facing an inter-dimensional monster threat is quite useful 😊

Oh my god! I just noticed that Robin looked at Nancy's cassettes. She will know what her favorite song is, that will save Nancy in volume two!

Anyone notice the art in Nancy’s room right before she shows Robin the pink dress? It’s a print by Kandinsky from 1903 called the singer. The woman is in a pink dress and holding red roses - which traditionally symbolize beauty and courage - the piano player is in the dark. I know its a bit of a stretch, but maybe a hint to expect some brave action - can you imagine Robin singing someone’s fave song? 😃

not to mention the physical resemblance as well, her facial expressions are all her dad & her hair is all her mom.

The scene of her checking out Nancy's room was hilarious and sad. You can see how fascinated she was, especially with the music box. I think since she was poor, she didn't have all those nice things.

I didn't even catch that. I started watching the show this year, July actually. And as a younger lad, Im kinda glad I watched it now with my current maturity but I also wish I was a part of the hype train. That being said, this show was something entirely different from what I was expecting

i’ve really noticed some character development with robin this season! at the start of season 3 she still had the same sarcasm & biting wit as now, but she was a little more standoffish; not particularly unfriendly, just more snarky, a bit reserved, and not quite as outgoing as she would be later (her attitude towards steve becomes understandable during her coming out speech when she talks about how she resented him bc of tammy), like she was putting on sort of a front to hide her true self. ever since coming out to steve & befriending him and the rest of the gang, she’s really opened up and let her true personality shine through: she’s awkward and quirky and she rambles all the time and she’s almost DEFINITELY neurodivergent in some form (i myself am autistic so i KNOW) and you can tell their influence has really rubbed off on her in some form bc she’s just so much more outgoing and talkative and willing to open up to others than before and i’m just so proud of her

She really is one of the most realistic and adorable characters. Her nervous rambling can annoy others but she's also really endearing.

Robin is so relatable. With literally everything. Her personality, her sarcasm, how she is always kinda nervous, how she feels, she's gay and I am, we both feel the EXACT SAME way with EVERYTHING every single thing she said in the show, even how she can't walk straight and more....and I love this. I live for this. She is so perfect for me and I love her sm since her first apparition

@@user-ui7tn1fq2b I have just seen a video of an actual therapist who said Robin has ADHD, so please if you get diagnosed, tell me so maybe I should maybe ask to check for myself. Ive been having symptoms for a pretty much long time and have got positive results of having it on many tests online, and since im not in the place to diagnostise myself, to self diagnostise, i really want to have an actual official response

In season 3 Steve and Robin were the best. Love their friendship.

I was fascinated by her character in S3 and she's so much more fleshed out in S4. Favorite character in the series by far. She's so much fun.

AND robin's best moment in this season wasn't even here! the one where she just starts spitting all the *almost* FACTS and gets her and nancy the chance to "interview" victor creel? such an iconic scene.

I think the "found a key" bit would've worked better if they didn't show the brick until it went through the window.

i've seen some ppl say shes changed this season but it makes sense? they made it a point to show how she was a loner and didnt trust ppl in s3 but she's now close with steve and the whole group so she feels like she can be herself. steve did say in s3 that she was hyper, and we got to see hints of her real personality at the end of the season .. so i dont think it was a super sudden change as some are saying. it would be weird if she was still all cold and sarcastic with steve who is like her brother

@3:48 She backs into a movie poster for "The Last Dragon", this might very well sum up her character for those who are familiar with that movie. It's about someone who discovers their inner power and worth realizing it comes from within. I think toward the end when they fight Vecna she may have a huge role to play in it. Kind of like how Murray discovered he could kick ass with his karate skills. She'll discover the confidence to overcome her insecurities and be the hero we all need.

My favs are Robin, Steve, Nancy (even though I didn't like her at the start), Joyce, Max and Erica. Max was surprisingly great this season considering she plays a dour and sullen character, those are generally not fun to watch but she nailed it imo.
