Not only that, but she helped make sure that he was hired, when she could have taken the job and left him looking for one.

Apparently she gets nervous in new situations and thats why she talks quickly and the brothers noticed this and included it in her character so maya would be more comfortable

I had to go to speech therapy when I was really little to learn how to slow down when I talked, they figured out it was because I had 2 siblings and one of them had ASD and never stopped talking and I learned that I had to speak really fast if I wanted to get any of my words out and I just continued because my sister said I sounded just like Six from "Blossom" and I thought that was super cool so I just continued, I learned how to slow down, but I can bring it back when I want to

The whole Robin character is basically Maya herself, which she said btw. So it's even more adorable and absolutely impossible not to love Robin :)

One of the most underrated lines in Stranger Things is “Dustin your compass has gone from wonky to wonky with a capital ahhh” I laugh every time I hear it
