Roberto has been my hero since I was a young kid. I wanted to play right field. His number was always the number I wore at softball. It chokes me up every time they play video of him at Pirate games. He was the greatest! I thank God for the opportunity to have lived during his lifetime.

when I was in Little League in the 1970s i had a Rawlings Roberto Clemente Baseball glove............ still have it

i was in a baseball clinic in puerto rico just days before his demise and what took place was not only memorable but he hit three consecutive home runs on the very first pitch off a triple a baseball pitcher

Where is this place
Aquí en Puerto Rico no se ha honrado a Roberto como realmente se merece. Su ciudad deportiva está en ruinas, le hemos fallado malamente como pueblo en no exigirle a las autoridades procesar a los responsable de que su sueño se convirtiera en una pesadilla! La ciudad deportivacestá en tuinas y con grandes posibilidades de desaparecer para siempre!

eso da pena ya que yo estuve presente en el parque colon de aguadilla donde el batio tres honrones de unos pitcher de la triple a,nunca me olvidare de esa gran persona y lo que hizo que en el parque habian tres banderas Boricuas que representaron esa occasion
