But you need to remember every diving headbutt, concussion, the stuff he was on to understand that people are human beings, they have a life with its challenges and sometimes people fall farther than they ever could imagine, he had a life before 2007, so did Nancy, so does David who survived that and has to live with that today, I think he knows

@@rustlerv6549 its a touchy subject but i was just wondering why people show him sympathy based on his career up until that point? i think it was the dark side of the ring documentary about him were people said he put wrestling before everything else, and you can see that with how reckless he did wrestle with no regard for anything but himself. surely smashing your head of a ring weekly is going to come back in the long run, and it did.

Chris was very respected before his death. That must have been a really neat moment for him considering the previous story from 1992. It puts into perspective just how long some of these guys knew about each other or spent that amount of time being in a locker room together.

The sad irony of this is. If Chris Benoit "knew when to get out" and retired from wrestling he would probably still be alive today along with his wife and child. It was the head injuries and the over working that made him go crazy

We dont know what would've happened. The wrestling business may have been the only thing keeping him going as it was all he knew. Chris never had any other job. It's well documented him and Nancy were having problems way before 2007. The man needed help and never got it. I hope everyone involved is resting in peace including him.

Hard to say. He had been wrestling since 1985 so the damage had been done. He worked that damaging style the entire time. Hard to imagine when he could’ve left and it making the difference. The difference in this acknowledgement is around this time he learned about the CTE issues and realized how much damage he’d gone through. Even if he’d left ten years before this he still spent ten or so years taking tons of damage to himself.

He was back and forth between WCW and New Japan and ECW at the time, I think. I remember him as far back as '92. If memory serves.

That was a moving story about Benoit. Personally I don’t think the end of his life defined the entirety of it. From what I’ve read he seemed like a good dude for most of it.

I was about to say the way he takes protein is how I take kratom lol. Then he mentioned kratom. I just put two 5g scoops at the back of my tongue and immediately wash it down. If you sneeze in the middle though it's so bad.

What’s funny about this story is realizing that Benoit and RVD both left WCW in May 1993. So he lectured him for leaving as he was doing the same thing. But I guess Benoit went back to Japan lol. But funny to think about him thinking someone was so stupid for doing the same thing he was doing at the same time.

Chris supposedly texted a lot of people some eerie messages and said some strange things before he passed though. A horrific tragedy is what it was.
