If you’re going to make a mistake as a goalkeeper then do it in the first game of the group! The overreaction to a 1-1 draw vs USA was ridiculous. Spain lost vs Switzerland in the first game and won the tournament. Also Rob Green made an excellent save later in that game and I think Capello was wrong to drop him after one mistake.

Definitely an underrated keeper, unfortunate mistake on the biggest stage again the biggest melts in football

Watched him play for QPR week in week out. Unbelievably bad left foot. Not saying I could've done anywhere near as good, or diminishing how hard the kicking part of the game is for keepers. But if you made a compilation video of his left foot kicking it would be a comedy video.

Rob did misjudged that ball which led to conceding a goal but dont forget that his team mates also let him down. That names on the team should have comfortably beaten America.
