Roasted Cabbage Recipe Rundown
Hi! Have you roasted cabbage before?
I have to admit, it was kinda something I had turned a blind eye to for some time, and I really don't know why because it's so lovely.
Today I'm roasting cabbage and putting it together into three different recipes.
1. Plain and simple, super basic roast cabbage
2. Sheet pan chicken and cabbage with sherry vinegar
3. Roasted cabbage with nutritional yeast dressing
Recipe for the nutritional yeast dressing:
1/2 cup of nutritional yeast
2 Tbsp water
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup of soy sauce
1/3 cup of apple cider vinegar
I love these roasted cabbage recipes! I hope this video gives you some cool ideas to jazz up your cabbage game!
Thanks for watching!

Hey! Welcome back. It's been a couple weeks but I'm happy to release this cabbage extravaganza. I hope you like it!
I love it
Egg with cabbage yummy!
Chicken looks great
I love your cooking videos. It's like having a next door neighbor who invites you into her home to show you what she is making. It's relaxing and cool and without the gimmicks. As for vinegar, check out some Umiboshi plum vinegar and see what that does for you.
Some great ideas here! Thankss

Love pulled pork, so the sandwich looked great. But the vinegary chicken and cabbage, omgosh, it made my mouth water. Looks soooo good. I was missing you, glad to see you back again. And seriously - you should have ten times the viewers - you're great!

I have just found your channel today and a love for cabbage, since Covid...Question: I’ve never heard of nutritional yeast before, is there something I can use instead? I have all ingredients except that, to make all 3 easy recipes!

Ooohhh I am so here for that crispy, dark cabbage bits 😍. I'm not the biggest onion fan but for me it's mainly a texture issue. I've finally grated onion and/or put it through the food processor and it's better for me. But, I'm totally with you on the briny, salty, sour plus the almost bacony, crispy chicken skin. Oh my gawd. I need this in my face. Like right effing now 😂😂😂😂

I think I will try the roasted cabbage steak sandwich tomorrow. What is the brand of your favorite chili crisp?

It’s made by a brand called La Famiglia. I can only find it at one shop here, I’d love to find the source and stock up!

Hahaha! The closest time I've ever come to cutting off a digit was when I was cutting a savoy cabbage or a carrot!

MY CABBAGES!
Hi, you had me at cabbage! I can't wait to try these. I"ll also be trying to track down the chili crisp...is there any heat with it? (bonus points for yes).
@HowToMakeDinner
3 жыл бұрын
YES!! But not so much that you have to be super careful with it. You can kinda pile it on! 😬
Roasted slaw, eh? So many possibilities! Roast the carrots and celery whole or chop/grate first? What kind of dressing? I foresee some experiments in my kitchen coming up. Only one thing for certain - hold the onions! LOL "oh no!!! She ruined it!" - guess who.

I’ve never tried the different types of cabbage. I’ve only used regular green cabbage. Is the flavor profile different from others like savoy, Chinese, etc?
@HowToMakeDinner
3 жыл бұрын
I’d say the flavour profile is pretty much the same. If anything, the “frilly leaf” types like savoy, Napa, might be a touch milder in their cabbage flavour. Texture wise the leaves are thinner and crisper than your classic green cabbage. But I use them all pretty similarly!
Beware of cross-contamination mixing the cabbage with the chicken!

It all cooked together! No danger there :)
