I love these build series. I love the hinge body mount. A tutorial video with more details on hidden body mount ideas would be cool. I'm always scratching my head trying to figure out how to mount hard bodies and still have reasonably easy access to the chassis/battery.

brazing on a metal grate is more difficult, the steel of the grate will absorb a large amount of heat and the solder will be less successful. try using a pair of pliers to hold the piece in place and move the main piece away from the grill. And…nice job, as always 👍🏻

FYI, it's not necessary to wait for a previous coat to dry completely before applying a subsequent coat, and it prevents things like your previous coat off-gassing from happening. Pros generally just wait until the coat is tacky and then apply subsequent coats. This also gets rid of the need to sand in between coats. Keep in mind that this only applies on a step-by-step basis. Obviously you should let your paint cure properly and sand between the primer, color and clear coats, but within those steps, its best not to let it dry completely before you lay down more of the same thing. This applies to working with solvent-based rattle cans as much as it does to working with catalyzed two-part finishes (like 2k Clear or Dunlop car paint for example).

Great trick for brazing. Doing it on a granite tile is buch better. It does not act like a heat sink for the heat and its easier to get the metal heated where you want it with out the metal grate you use taking all the heat away from the part you are heating. (Heating...) They make little 3' extension hoses for the tanks. make it a lot easier than wielding the tank all over the place.
