The "dark horse" of Sheffield 2023, New Zealand's Evie Corrigan surprised pundits who expected her to finish dead last. Deciding to move into the 52kg division, she took the overall gold and raised the total world record by 22kg.
Returning to Sheffield as a 52kg competitor and now also as a world champion, Evie believes that while she can no longer fly under the radar, she can nonetheless make another run at the top spot this February.
