The real difference for Mayweather is his boxing IQ, the guy is really really smart and knows his boxing. For me Ward is not on the level of Jones jr, Hopkins or Mayweather, he is a really good skilled boxer but he is not there. And he keeps saying that he is not 50 years old whane we do the comparison with Hopkins but let's see how better he does...

I do massive research on fights as my full time job is betting on fights .. I have earned an average of 50,000 euros each year for the last 7 years so I generally win big. I have never put so much money on a fight as this one. A couple reasons no matter how good or bad wards chin is it is somewhat irrevelant as you cant knock out ward (similar to hopkins)..so power aside it will come down to a boxing match between 2 fighters the same size and the guy with the most skills will win..then you have to look at the judges..Once Bert Clemens was announced as a judge I know he will favour the pure boxer as he always does. i could give u numerous examples ( mayweather maidana he scored it 117-111 when the other 2 judges had it 116-112 and 114 and countless other times...if anyone wants any predictions for fights with good odds or so called pick em fights reply away..some of my wins have been frampton santa cruz/ mayweather canelo, fury klitschko, ward froch, rigondeauz donaire

I completely respect and admire Kovalev's upbringing and personal difficulties he had to overcome, as well as Andre Ward's. But to be honest, it is best for boxing that Andre Ward wins this fight and retires undefeated at the top of the mountain. We do not come across pure individuals in this sport that have such an elite boxing pedigree; and he is one for sure. We should celebrate him more often, as #1 P4P.

I respect both of these fighters, and believe they are both amongst the top 5 p4p in the world. However, Ward is far too skilled to walk into a clean Kovalev right. I believe Ward will expose holes in Kovalev and dominate a large majority of the fight, and make it extremely difficult for Kovalev to gain any momentum. Kovalev like any fighter has a punchers chance, but Ward is from a different school. I guess time will tell

Ward will win with superior ring intelligence, a ruthless attitude to control the pace, a sublime skill set, extremely clever and subtle dirty fighting, an inside game that will frustrate exactly the right amount to make Kovalev lose his cool and most of all a determination to win unlike any man Kovolev has even dreamed of. You need the excuses. Read this comment back the day after the fight and realise that boxing is way more complicated than you know.

A smart boxer like BHOP felt that power and barely through any punches after that I see the same thing playing out again I believe that if Ward can stay away and outbox him on points then he has a chance but I believe that kovalev has more ring generalship than people give him credit for and good speed as well.

Boxing IQ and experience aside... Kovalev does not have the will to win that Andre Ward has. Kovalev has not overcome the adversity that Ward has.
