My husband and I love this one. Every year, when the temperature hits plus one we say, we have to watch that skit, it's plus one!

Yep! Pretty much sums it up! Just moved to Calgary from Australia. We find this video incredibly amusing and share it with our friends often. Thanks for the laugh!

In Edmonton it was -50 two weeks ago and now we're enjoying +5 to +9 this whole week. Hang in there guys theres hope for the whole country

My dad worked for Environment Canada in the weather office. I can attest they did make stuff up.

I knew it! Whenever we have a summer drought, Environment Canada teases us with a forecast of rain in six or seven days...it never arrives, but it's there like some meteorological carrot!

They do the exact same thing during the heat of summer with the rain forecast. Bastards.

I think we (folks outside of Canada) get the message. Here in Queensland Australia we broke heat records for November with a 41C two days running. Our forecasts offered some relief and we even had a sprinkle of rain. The G20 in Brisbane was probably the cause.....lots of "hot air" in the atmosphere

Even working with Environment Canada (at a distance), it is odd how true this rings. The light at the end of the tunnel dims as it comes closer, to rarely appear. Oh and where are all the global warming people? Ship some of it here! :D

I was so excited about +1! And it will be garbage day! I am so happy I will put on my most beautiful dress to take out the garbage.

Coming back to this now when it’s -35 and the 7 day gets to -3.

Environment Canaduhhh does this all year long actually. When summer won't start or is miserably cold and wet, when the spring still feels like the dead of winter and autumn only lasts 2 weeks in most places before "wintery weather" kicks in, there is always this "promise" that things will be better a week from when the misery begins. Aaaaaand before you know it and busy perpetually waiting (waiting for what, only God knows), it's winter again!!!

Spring weather IS coming. It is.....Dale After getting over the storms it will warm up and things will start to snow....and the snow will gradually melt...Happens every year.

LOLOL. I don't know how many times I put off shovelling the driveway because the forecast in a few days was for rain. Rarely did I not regret waiting.

this is actually very true.

i have the weather network app on my phone and every time i see the damn thing in the long term forcast there is a +1 or +2 but im in ottawa and havent had a positive temperature since back in december.. I HATE YOU CANADA OH GOD HOW DEPRESSED i get when we got for 2 weeks straight with -15 and below temperatures... How did the settlers do it? how could they have possibly survived such harsh winter environments.. i cant stay outside for more than half an hour or else i feel like im gonna lose a body part..people say we are polite because we already have the harsh winters to worry about so we have to group together and work against the climate.. Such long winters cause depression on a lot of us so we dont need any extra drama in our lives we just want to survive and make it through the winter.

LOL ....I am Canadian. Born and raised in Ontario....now I'm married to an American and guess where we live? EFFING MINNESOTA!!! My heart goes out to all in Canada as we just completed a week of +5-+15 C

It was +7 today and watch it go back to like -10. Dam Canadian weather

I hate to rub it in, but here in Alberta we actually made it to +1, and beyond. It's nice, actually being able to open your windows during the day, and to go outside without a sweater!

Actually in their 5-day forecast, they will put "Sunny" for the 4th and 5th day when they don't know what it will be.

So true! When I looked at my weather forecast and saw that it's not going above zero for the next 2 weeks . . . I went to a dark place. I keep checking, hoping it will go above freezing some time in the foreseeable future, so that there's a glimmer of hope that spring is going to come. Anyway I found this video hilarious.

And I just saw something in the news feeds that 2019 was the warmest year on record. Yes, the world would come to an end if the temperature around here went up to -32C instead of -34C. BEFORE factoring the windchill.
