They were sitting in a restaurant and told their American dinner companions that they had arrived by dog sled. This was in the summer. When they told them that the Americans got up and went to the window to look at the dogs and the sled in the parking lot. True story--not joking!

😂…that must have been hilarious. I’m from Saskatchewan and moved to Toronto for a few years after high school in the 1990’s. And one day an somewhat annoying coworker asked me about living in Saskatchewan. So I told her the differences between Ontario and Saskatchewan were amazing and shocking to me. Because in Saskatchewan the winters are 8 months long and so cold that we have to live in igloos like the Inuit, and have no paved roads or electricity. But after seeing real houses and buildings I hoped some day Saskatchewan would too. I didn’t think she believed me and forgot about it. Then about a month later she came into work in huff 😤 telling me she watched a show about Saskatchewan and it showed we did have City’s, houses, roads and electricity!! 😂 *If a Canadian could believe that, I can only imagine what some Americans might believe about Canada.

As a Saskatchewan native, there are so few people that can pronounce the name of the province...the best way I was told to explain the way its said is "pretend you're a bit drunk when you mash all of the letters together". The Canadian province is functionally identical to the US state. It's really stupid to assume that an american doesn't know that canada uses the term province just because this reporter used the word state. The bits are really just clever tricks of language and editing to make the person they're interviewing look stupid. It's a really lame formula for man on the street comedy and easy for someone without a 2 digit IQ to see how Rick is tricking these people - it's really easy to manipulate and intimidate people into saying stupid shit when you present yourself as an authority and lie to them. Connor O'Malley does this man on the street stuff a lot better in his satirical Truth Hunters show.

Key takeaway: Some of em ain’t the brightest But most are nice folks
A friend of ours was telling us about the time when she and her husband travelled to the southern states because of his job.

"oh you're all developmentally delayed? You can find the bright side in anything, there's always something to celebrate." Very wholesome.
