These vs Weistec for 2x the price?
My kit came with armor that is flat and does not have those 2 pieces sticking up off of it. I also received no instructions in my kit so I am relying on this video and I was hoping to know how to do it with this different setup.

How much weight two running boards add, wondering impact on range

Weight isn't much of an impact on range. The truck weights 7500 lbs already, so adding running boards is like having a small child in the car with you.
Does the replacement cover up the factory jack points?

The rock sliders do, however you can jack the truck directly on the steel plating of the slider!

@EVSportline do we still need a puck on those points or will they fit the factory jack the way that the puck does?
It’s not clear which slider is for driver and which one for passenger side. In my boxes I have both showing a number 2. There is mention that they are side specific but nowhere explained how to identify which?

Thanks. This was also provided to me via chat online while I was in middle of install. All worked well in end. Took my time and wanted to make sure not to have to redo something in end.

yes, sure does!
Definitely need to update my definition of the word ‘torque’. 15 uggaduggas is 25ft lbs but 7 uggaduggas is 40ft lbs? Man, my calibrations are off after a few decades of use.

You forgot to tell us to remove the TP55 prior to installing the armor plates at position 3, 5, and 7. Earlier on when hanging the slider you had said to put those back. Great video otherwise.
