In all other games "being a bot" is an accusation of cheating or a high praise, both based on inhumanly high level of play. And then I came into Rocket League and it's suddenly an insult for poor players. I was utterly confused

This kickoff would also work as a counter to the other team ignoring the kickoff. Just adapt to do the real bot kickoff pinch 150 kph into the net

i think it would make more sense for rise's position to fake since he will be seen and have more of an effect. then atow can easily get the ball to go left since the countering player would be selling to hard to the right. then rise would be in a great spot to immediately go and have the 3rd man for a 2 man play

OG did this again against LG in game 5 and OG ended up getting scored on because of it.

Everyone thinks its luck when i do this kick off strat. @4:02 ive been doing this forever. Which ever opponent that doesnt go for the kickoff ur the roll guy.

I will never call it a bot kick off, it’s just the double kick off

I suck at the game, but even I can read those "tricky" kickoffs easily Is it just me?

Really good play by comm??? Probably play of the year honestly. Let’s watch that kickoff in real time a few more times and just recognize how important reaction time is

Play of the year ? Lmao. It's very easy to react. Do you know how many times player in 1s react on the fly accordingly to opponents kick off

Wavedash kickoff will become meta. Sort of is a full proof counter to any antics on kickoff because you can save your dodge last second if you notice a fake or something like this and use it to block the trajectory of the ball or catch up to the ball if they fake it.

You can do the same thing with a speed flip kickoff

​@@a.maricely the wavedash isn't to get to the ball. you speedflip normally but keep you flip for the 50, and wavedash after the 50, which grants a better recovery. it's more of a 1s thing tho
