9:57 Scroll down on the right to see your shortcuts and check what shortcut is assigned to "Shortest path preview"!
just started my trial and imported a model to follow along, what I'm noticing is when i try to select an edge its not selecting where my arrow is, or if i drag a rectangle it starts away from my arrow not sure why.
We can isolate islands, but how do we isolate an entire mesh, such as a column mesh on a temple composed of many meshes?

Double middle mouse click on the object, then isolate 🙂

I don't get that ctrl+shift function for live previewing edges selection. What is the shortcut, please? EDIT: just figured it out, it's solely shift.

It depends on which control layout you are using, if you look at the bottom right of the UI, it shows a shortcut guide based on your control setup.

Is there a way to select an object when after cutting seems, cause I have multiples objects and I can find a way to select them without selecting everything

In island mode, hover your cursor over the island and double click middle mouse button.
align straighten flip fit I can't find this stuff. is it not easy to find in the newer version?

Press the transform tool button, they will be displayed on the right.

@@RizomUV HI and thanks for the reply. I clicked the transform button on the left under the select tool. it says the shortcut is F5. I see a lot of your stuff, but not the magic wand. Am I still missing anything? Thanks for your support!!

@@Karimozoro I thought you wanted Align Straighten Flip? In any case, you can find the magic wand under the select tool attributes (you need to be in polygon mode too)
My loop selection always stops at selections no matter what i set. How do I fix that?

On the right side of the UI, under the "Edge Loop" section, uncheck "Stop at Selection"

i got it. I had to uncheck and check it again. Dont know why. Btw is there also a option to gave loop selections not stop at cuts? @@RizomUV

@@prymexxxx - No there isn't, because at a cut you are reaching the boundary of an island.

Virtual Space = For models that will end up in a "Virtual Space" (think game engines, rendering) Real Space = For UV that will be brought into the real world (laser cutting guides, printing)
