She never EVER sat on silk cushions. What you saw is what you got. She had a marvelous sense of humour and a VERY broad mind!

This is such a delightful programme! Your Mum was a wonderfully down-to-earth lady with whom I would have been delighted to break bread, as long as she was cooking and we all got to sing something! N.B. if anyone here is from the American West, please be assured that "cow pie" in this context means something entirely different than our usage of the term. :-) Thank you so much for preserving and restoring this treasure. It beats the heck out of most of what's on the telly these days, that's for sure!
