Nice comedy....not really too reflective or insightful though IMO, somewhat lazy by Trevor who I do like a lot and is usually very insightful. Rishi’s actual challenge is not racists (one caller on LBC, of all places, is a backlash 😂) but sort of the exact opposite- is he just another Tory (very wealthy, Oxford Uni, financier, out of touch with working class) - a party and group despised by many in UK irrespective of skin colour. If race was such a huge issue he wouldn’t have been put in the PM position - political parties only care about winning after all. I think he’s actually the conservatives best bet of winning the next GE (but his party is so far behind labour so....).

Yeah, the UK is getting a taste of it's own medicine.

I live in China, and it is a terrifying fact that everyone in China talks about the party meeting, but no one knows anything about Hu Jintao being unwillingly escorted out of the Party meeting. The government blocks out such news so well, almost nobody seemed to know about the protest on the bridge in Beijing. It's really scary to see the country developing backwards, Xi is really beginning to remind me of Mao after wwii.

“…well into his 42½’s.” That was funny.

I work in a retail setting in Illinois and I see evidence of this with my highschool age coworkers. For example, I was training a new employee and he had clue of denominations of money or how to even make change. When I asked him that this is all basic common math he responded with the old fashioned, we have debit cards now, he went on to say that that's not even taught anymore. I was horrified and really had no choice but to refer him to upper management for dismissal. This is appalling and an embarrassment I for one I'm willing for free to hold basic math classes as an after-school program I just need the space.
