@@matsv201 Incorrect. The FAA trusted Boeing. That was the error. Because "unexpectedly" they're crooks.

Sadly this also directly affects employment / hiring by the airlines because of which existing airline employees are badly stuck in case they wanna stick to Boeing .

Seems to me that Boeing's problems are going to make the industry more dangerous. Because of the shortage aircraft are going to stay in service longer and old aircraft are less reliable and less reliable aircraft tend to have more accidents.

Old aircraft are not less reliable. Just look at delta or american's fleets. They have good safety record despite their higher than average fleet age. Fuel efficiency however is ofcourse lesser.

"...Boeing cannot increase 737 MAX production until quality issues are addressed" should be "quality assurance processes are implemented". "Addressing" only means acknowledging the problem(s)

Question, has the problem been addressed yet? Boeing heads and management, political lobbying for corporations and companies, F A A and all regulatory agencies, airline and supplier heads and management if not than nothing has been addressed. It's not the employees it the culture of corporation and politician greed.
