One of the reasons Shuna was able to turn Disintegration back against Adalman was because she understood the magic composition of it because of Rimuru witnessing it being used by Hinata and that knowledge being shared among Rimuru's subordinates, so she kinda lead Adalman into using holy magic, Also when Rimuru meets Guy he's fluctuating his aura to see if Rimuru takes notice of it but it's actually a trap since in order to sense the fluctuations you would need to possess an Ultimate skill to match Guys so Rimuru inadvertently outed himself to Guy but not how many Ultimates he has

Never underestimate someone multiclassed as a Mage and Cleric like Shuna, especially someone with her Unique Skills *Analyst* (which is her version of Great Sage just without the A.I. assistant) and *Manufacturer* which allows her to create her own unique magic. This combination even allows her to game the system and perform "Faux" Holy Magic. Yes, what Shuna does in this episode is not true Holy Magic. It is just as effective as the real thing but she still has to use her own power to perform it. True Holy Magic can only be used by those who have formed a "pact" with their "God" or are a "God" themselves. Once a pact is created, the follower can convey their will through prayer, allowing them to manipulate Spiritrons and use Holy Magic to perform miracles. The energy used is lent from their "God", resulting in less energy used from the followers. The strength of the Holy Magic solely depends on the user's "Faith" in their respective "God". Additionally, the more followers increasingly pray to their "God", the more their "God's" holiness increases, allowing for stronger Holy Magic. The resulting Holy Magic's strength also depends on the believer's "Faith" in their respective "God", as the burden placed on the user is low. --------------------------------------------------- When Adalmann says "a Divine Miracle," he is referring to Miracle level Holy Magic which makes use of a god's power to freely manipulate spiritrons. The magics in this category are immensely powerful and its offensive spells are dangerous regardless of if the target is a monster or not, even an Ultimate Skill user's immunity to magic doesn't protect against them. Disintegration is also an example of this kind of Holy Magic. As mentioned above, Shuna is not actually using true Holy Magic but rather gaming the system to perfectly imitate it using her own strength. ------------------------------------------------------------ The reason monsters do not normally use Holy Magic is because Holy Magic purifies Magicules and monsters are magicule-based lifeforms. Holy Magic is actually pretty ineffective against normal Humans who have little to no magicules of their own but against Monsters or Undead it effectively causes them anything from burns to a complete breakdown of their molecular bonds. It's effectively a monster irradiating themself in order to cast powerful magic that is next to useless against Humans. This along with the fact that holy magic is usually associated with the Western Holy Church and monster slaying, is the reason it's widely believed in-universe that monsters are not capable of using holy magic. Hence why most characters react in shock when they see a monster casting it. ------------------------------------------ Adalmann is actually far stronger than Shuna which is why she had to wait until he used Disintegration, after which she hijacked it in order to purify the land and break Kazalim's curse on Adalmann.

Notice, when Clayman hit Milim, everybody was surprised and shocked. But Guy was not. He looked like a man who suppressed his anger.

Don't bother worrying about guy he already knew milim isn't being controlled you should be worrying about deeno the guy literally destroyed the nations who kill veldavava if I remember correctly so what do think he'll do if he finds out that the daughter of her master is treated like that and even if claymon somehow survive I'm pretty sure deeno will hunt him down

fun fact the community has come up with the fun name of Rimuruism as the religion name and their is an abridged series that attributes its creation to Ranga the best boi (though in cannon its true creator would likely be diablo the simp he is)

Note that Rimuru said that Misery was a demon who gave off the same feel as Diablo who is a primordial demon... make of that as you will. Shuna was wayyyy weaker than Adalman strength wise. That's why she had to bait him into using Holy magic so she could use his own power to fuel a spell to break the bindings. Basically she is smarter and more skilled but lacked the power. 😊 Remember the name Luminous (I.e. the god of Hinata and the western Holy church) The reason Veldora doesn't go near Guy's domain is because he knows his sister is there... 🤣 The demon lords are observant (well some of them) and know how Milim acts normally. I would recommend paying attention to their reactions etc going forwards. Rimuru getting super mad at the end looks sick! 😊

​@Angel_Rod I'm very late to the party, but this is why I prefer the English dub for slime, the translations are a lot better. And the VA's did a fantastic job with it

I highly recommend Slime Diaries as the next anime. It is a slice of life anime on what the cast do while constructing their city and country. You get to see a lot more about some of the background cast of the main series and it also answers a lot of questions that pop up during the main anime. It has a lot of humor, but it can really hit you in the feels.

Between the OP fitting perfectly, Rimiru leaving the house decked out in a perfectly badass suit, the start of Walpurgis, and Rimiru's endless rage haku(Lord's Ambition, me thinks)at the end, this is like my favorite episode of S2.

Well first of: for most human and monsters the idea of a monster using holy magic is insane and that battle between two monsters has its climaxe in holy magic also Desintegration wearies in strength depending on the user and other things....Hinatas Desintegration would certainly not that easy to overrode. The Next are a bit Spoiler: second: something from a bonus story from a later volume (it is still canon and covers this ep a bit) Mizeri said to Rain (the maids): "Clayman’s luck is running out" after coming back from picking up Rimuru third: no one really realizes at that time but Rimuru is more or less the 3rd strongest in the room...and yes it stays that way until Walpurgis is over even with one additional guest later...at least by my estimation...to be honest I think Guy got a hunch before Rimuru blocked everything like it was kind of stated at the novels and last: hitting milim in front of Guy, Deeno and Ramiris takes guts....I mean she is the sole heir of the damn god who created this world and he and by extension his daughter is well respected

Rimuru is not 3rd stronger or anything like that. His magiculs amount is around weakest in true demon lord in that room. Both dino and leon are easily stronger. Another one is not reveled( in this episode) who around rimuru's level. Rimuru speciality is growing at abnormal speed. He is currently weaker but will surpass them in future( anime's).

@@ratre7349 I didnt mean raw power I meant overall fighting ability! It is not always about magicules...especially for Rimuru whos strength lies within Skills and abilities. I mean you probably know what happens in vol15....aside from the sealing away "the red fella" which you could argue is not possible in such a short time as for Rimuru than. Deeno is strong yes but as soon as he fights is majore weaknesses will be exposed and even Leon cant match up to 4 Ultimates at the same time...well I guess his attackes would deal damage for bit until analyzed I mean Rimuru said he could fight Veldora to an exhaustion fight with he goes smart about it even with their great magicul difference since he has Beelzebub Their is also a lot of examples for skills being more important than magicul count like Shuna and Adalman (1:10 or even worse than that), the fight in vol 15 and Michael,... I hope I masked all "spoiler" well enough so that the unknowing once dont get spoiled xD

@@ciphercircel16 i mean fighting capability as well when i said around luminas level, not just magiculs amount. There's way big of difference in strength beetwin rimuru from volume 6 and rimuru from volume 15. And it's not just Magiculs amount but other things as well.

Told you there was a huge connection ;) It actually blew me away the 1st time. You spent the entire 2nd core With a amazing opening theme but when you get to this episode and he steps through that doorway it closes and immediately goes to that opening theme it's the Revelation that It wasn't just the usual cool anime opening of him looking bad a** it was actually part of the story the whole time

Her humor is a good balance especially with how serious things have gotten

At 1:53 Lurus? + Milis? = 10:56. At 3:23 Why is the green-hair maid equal to "Diablo"? At 7:07 Adalman's trusted knight, "Albert" & his pet "Death Dragon". At 12:19 BGM: "Hiai (Sorrow)". The same from "Myulan's anti-magic". At 14:28 New recruits? At 18:38 "Carrion" did had wings on combat. Well done, detective Angel. 😆 At the end, have u forgotten "Laplace's warning" about Milim. I'm sure everyone knows...? Let the Banquet begin!

Ohhh those subtitles are different than I remember. In the subtitles I watched, Soeis line for the Dragon was something along the lines of "Ohh, so you are resistant to death? Then die!". Absolutely stupid line, but I always chuckled.

About Veldora and Dagruel (this is the proper spelling not Daggrule) being equals in power: Remember Veldora is stronger, has an Ultimate Skill and uses actual technique now rather than just brute force. If Veldora and Daggruel fought now Veldora would probably win as long as Veldora avoided too much use of Elemental Magic such as his signature Storm Magic since Giants are ridiculously resistant to magic. ---------------------------------------------- Subtitle Error #1: Mizeri should be Misery and Raine should be Rain. I will never understand where translators got those translations especially with what Misery and Rain are named after, namely the Misery of Guy's victims and the rain of blood from Guy's genocide of the Super-Magic Empire and its rival. ------------------------------------------------- Remember the description of Soei's new Unique Skill he got from Rimuru's Harvest Festival that I gave you. One of the abilities of *Shadow Striker* is that it enables him to damage the Spiritual Bodies of his enemies, which allows him to bypass the physical defenses of his target, as well as lets him attack Spiritual Lifeforms who are otherwise immune to physical damage. He can also infuse this ability and *Shadow Striker's* other abilities into his Sticky-Steel Threads. If the souls of the undead hadn't been inside of Adalmann, Soei would have been very effective against them. -------------------------------------------------- Hakurou and Soei shouldn't be upset about being unable to beat the Death Knight and Death Dragon. As long as Adalmann is around and he has power to spare, his undead army is effectively invincible and is why Shuna separated herself and Adalmann from everyone with Alignment Field, so they couldn't support him in a battle of attrition. It's obvious to them that Milim isn't acting like herself, the problem is if they point it out, they'll become a target as well. If an armed person walks in a room, unless you wanted to be killed you'll keep your mouth shut. Rimuruism's original trio is almost complete Diablo, Adalman, only one left. So further explanation in what happened when Rimuru walked in. They actually came in chronologically except for Rimuru, Milim, and Clayman. (karion as well) 2,000 years ago Guy is the first obviously, next is Milim then Ramiris. (the oldest/first generation) 1,500 years ago Dagruel, Valentine, and Dino go next respectively. (second generation) 300 years ago Next should have been Clayman, Karion, Frey. (forgot their order but they mostly became demon lords almost the same time. Third generation) 100 years ago Lastly is Leon who became a demon lord the most recent being one hundred years ago. Now Rimuru should have went last but he came with Ramiris so he arrived early. Rimuru tried analyzing Guy first, what he saw was an aura as big as Karion's but shown like he can't control it and is an amateur in it. However further analyzing shows that it was fake and made for others to underestimate him. Even more analysis shows that it is also a screening to see who has an Ultimate Skills. The law states that to counter an Ultimate skill you must have an Ultimate skill as well. Meaning to find out that Guy is faking shows that Rimuru has an Ultimate skill as does Guy. Luckily it doesn't show how many Ultimate skill a person has. Next is Dagruel, his just letting his magicules run free. Rimuru called it bottomless as with how much magicules he has. Valentine next, compared to others his magicules wasn't impressive. The Maid hides her aura by switching from high and low at random. Meaning it could go from very high level of magicules to very low. The butler besides her hides his aura completely similar to what Rimuru does. Next is Dino, Rimuru tried analyzing him after dino sat down. However Dino noticed Rimuru's attempt and looked at him, Rimuru turned and gave up. (this implies that Dino realizes that Rimuru was analyzing him. Meaning Dino also has an Ultimate skill.) That's as far as his analysis goes the rest like Frey and Clayman aren't worth mentioning. Leon wasn't Analyze because clayman already arrived with milim.
